Don't forget Ki-Adi-Mundi the guy in the prequel who said the Sith hasn't been seen for a millennium. He was in this episode. So he lied to the jedi council and kept this a secret if this person is a Sith. Also they changed his age to put him in this episode. He is suppose to be 73 years old in the prequel Trilogy, this story takes place 100 years before the prequels but he is a grown man in this story. He wasn't even born but he is in this episode. So he is over 100 years old in the Prequels. They even retroactively changed his birthday and age to fit this story on a lot of star War wiki pages

They probably brought him in for a reason. I don’t think his age (which you’d have to really dig for) matters much or ruins anything.

They made a crappy story , messed up star wars and then its the fans fault ( which for some reason are bigots), because its female led yada yada, House of the dragons is Female led and its friking amazing, when that doesn't work they complain about diversity , the boys and Gen V are both and are amazing , it's not the fans fault, its the crappy story's fault, stop blaming the fans for crappy content and messing up 40+ years of amazing story.
This has to be the most nothing episode lmfao Mae killed two Jedis and having trouble navigating the forest made her realize she didn’t want to kill any longer. Also Osha spent like 5 mins saying goodbye just for Sol to recruit her again. The writing hurts so much
They talked about osha being alive could change things. She then has time to think further about it while on the run. She concludes she should change plans during said run. Is that really so far fetched? The se ond part did seem like little more than relationship building, the show isn't over yet it might mean something
I would think if people watched the first episode of this show would have already realized that this show doesn’t care what the lore is.

What about Master Ki-Adi-Mundi who wasn't even Born. This story happen 100 years before the prequels or something. Ki-Adi-Mundi is 73 years old. He is not even a fetus but he is there. Plus he was the one who said there wasn't a sith for over a Millennium. Headlamp is to busy trying to make this into a live action Anime.
Well in canon he didn't have a date of birth and now he does and he's old.

Your so right the women that killed two Jedi MASTERS is not a threat at all nothing going on there. Also she tried to kill Osha in the last episode what the hell she literally said that she would kill her then tried to burn her alive in her room. But now decided that you know what think I'm good now I tried to kill my sister and then blamed for the death of my mothers and everyone i loved for 16 years but guess she family but every thing makes sense . I was about to pop my sho in the oven and fly on a cow to China you want anything .
I don't think we need to worry about Lucasfilm changing Yoda's Pronouns. The High Republic show that is geared more towards the kid audience does refer to Yoda as a he....unless The Acolyte wants to just fuck the lore even more
You missed that they had Ki Adi Mundi in the episode who shouldnt even be born yet (born in 93 bby) and shouldnt know about a possible sith considering he says the sith havent been seen in a millinea in episodw one.

I disagree on this, the episode was not long enough and all of the interesting bits that could’ve been extrapolated upon were cut just too short
Didn’t have any time to flesh out much and the ending left my yearning for more

If Smilio Ren is a Sith, it does break the "1000 year" absence and they will have to either cover it up to the point where even Yoda doesn't know or kill everyone involved.
Also, I agree. Lee Jung-jae seems to be the only actor trying.

This episode honestly wasn’t that bad. Qimir = Chimera and he’s obviously the dark warrior. His entrance scene was actually awesome as well. A human chimera is a person who has multiple cells of DNA from different individuals.
I dropped the shoe but I am still interested in who Mae’s master is… so unless he murders them all in the next ep or has Mae do it.. then I’ll probably watch ep5

It's really dumb tryna make a mystery about who this sith is when during this time period Darth Tenobrus and Darth Plaegus are canonically around! They can't even stick to their canon right. There shouldn't be another darkside user besides those 2 cuz they both live a long time. If ur gonna tell me somewhere out there another sith was around and wasn't mentioned at all then u don't know wtf ur doing at all
I've just dropped star wars in general. Didn't watch the last couple movies. Besides a few episodes of mando i haven't watched any of the disney shows
I'm not defending this show at all because it's just pretty meh. The characters aren't that interesting, the editing is really bad, and the writing is very amateur. But, anyone who says the show has been "lore breaking" don't really know the lore as well as they think they do.
My persomal bigger issue than some of clear Star Wars lore breaking issues is poor character development but of all the timeframes this could take place why have it take place relatively close to the events of the Phantom Menace which has only hurt it imo.
I liked Obi Wam more than most and dont feel this show is as bad as Boba Fett overall its not good but i hope they are able to stick the landing somwhow over the next 4 episodes.

I have Zero problems with the actors and actress performance in the series. It's all the writing and direction they're taking the series is the problem is. When they reveal the wookie was died by the sith master i was pissed because i was looking forward to see the wookie in combat.

Vernestra wanting to cover things up makes sense since she lived through an earlier era in the high republic (Phase 1 books) where she helped cover up something for both the chancellor and force eaters that were killing the jedi

I dropped the show half way through episode 2, and have only watched clips of what happened since. This show is so poorly acted I couldn’t do it anymore

Ki Adi Mundi part or a cover up and later in ep1 saying categorically that "the sith had been extinct for a millenium". So they either broke canon AGAIN, or he will now be seen as a "LIAR!" or they will make it so that this dark side user aint a "sith".
In the credits its revealed thag Ki-Adi-Mundi was there. The coneheaded alien in the ep? Thats a younger Ki-Adi

If they actually pull off a good twist, this show could actually be okay. But if I were to bet, the twist will be stupid and won't make sense or cover the obvious plot holes. This show can easily get much worse. I didn't mind this episode tho, I'm moderately interested in the twist tbh.
I agree. The only thing having me invested still is the mystery Sith or whoever. They’re loosing my interest more and more with each episode. The fans sometimes get hyper sensitive on any lore change but I’m ok to a point. The better have a good reward for all this that they’re not alluded to yet. So far the best series were Mando 1&2 and Andor to me.

I am nor hyped, nor outraged. It's a decent show to watch while eating or snacking. I cannot give it a 10, but it certainly isn't a 1. It's about a 6 for me - it fails to branch out from George's vision, but it doesn't really stay in its confines. It needs more identity, which I think why shows like The Mandalorian or Andor are so appreciated.
