- The Vault Guard tells the story of a superstitious young boy and his skeptical uncle, the latter of whom has his views of the supernatural challenged when the two of them go to a carnival and take a ride through a frighteningly realistic haunted house.

I WISH there were haunted houses like this in some kind of carnival or theme park. I've been in haunted houses before, but all I ever got was startled at most.
this was a fun episode to watch i liked that uncle harry in the end had fun and enjoyed himself while hanging out with hs grandson at the amusement park

I find it kind of cool that the vault keeper and the witch appear in this series, trying to steal the show from the Cryptkeeper. That’s actually a pretty cool idea.

I would have loved this as a kid...
it funny how the lil boy thinks it just a ride when n dee it is but it became real bc of uncle harry bad attitude. yet Jeremey was so innocent to the whole ordeal. iknow i would jad been scared heck i am scared of snow white scary adventure ride at Disney i dont do it bc i am mostly by myself.

Crypt keeper made me no longer scared of the realistic horror games as a kid because they made him very kid friendly even for a skeleton/zombie whatever is he but the intros it's self are helpful for kids not to get too scared with horrors I'm sure there's a GOOD subliminal behind it to make kids braver

What a wonderfully put together episode, I thought the character of the uncle was really well realised and it was a great little message scaring the bitter old grump into remembering how to use his imagination and have fun again. Excellent, a lot better than the average Tales From the Cryptkeeper. :D
