- Camille and Mildred from "Fare Tonight" return, this time, to investigate the sightings of a woman's ghost who haunts a local inn.
I won't lie as a little kid when this was on I hated it, it terrified me and the cryptkeeper himself gave me nightmares for four or five years and now facing my fears I love this show!
Alicethereaper666 wow
Alicethereaper666 me too
You're not alone. I was scared of the Cryptkeeper from the real show for the longest time!
Same! I still have nightmares about the HBO version. I can't watch it at night.
I just wanted to hug Crypt Keeper when he cried. He may be scary, but like he said, he has a soft spot.
He's crying because he had to endure her singing!
I know. But still. Seeing him cry breaks my heart and I’d wanna give him a hug.
Even the ending made him cry too😢
@corjonbett That's not why he's crying.
I like to think that the little girl ghost gave them her teddy bear as a thank you for reuniting her with her mother.
That’s what I like to think too. I mean, does kind of feel like that after all that happened and reuniting the two now they can be at peace and never separated
I saw this ONE time as a kid 20+ years ago and it terrified me. As an adult, I could not figure out what this show was lol. I am so glad I stumbled across this lol
I watched this series for fun when I was a kid. It wasn't scary to me at all. But this episode is the one exception to that. It completely terrified me.
I 💯 relate to this 😭 This episode always scared me the most as a child but It was always my favorite
Same
Valentina &Marsha Thank you for being the Voices of Mildred and Camille you Ladies our Awesome ❤❤❤
It's really kind of weird how the HBO version got adapted into a cartoon as well, especially since the cartoon has the original actor for the cryptkeeper lol. A little odd since in typical HBO fashion, the show contains a lot of sex and nudity and other adult themes. lol.
+TheIrishEnigma Well, both shows stem from an old horror comic from the '50s that probably shouldn't have been read by kids but was anyway (after all, kids were the main audience for comic books back then).
+TheIrishEnigma Nobody can replace Cryptkeeper.
It probably happened because of the fact that many kids also watched the HBO show (when they really shouldn't have been watching it lol)
Take a walk sister!
I loved these when I was little
I miss the 90s😭
I wish they made program's like this now, to the same callibour. These were the good old days.
Still watching in 2022 😊
it's a PG13 yet still so well written.
well in some parts that is.
STILL 100 TIMES THEN FREAKING VELMA
Love this episode!
BTW, I want to be an earthbound ghost after my own time comes. ^_^
I love this show!!
this is much better version than The Curse of La Llorona.
110%
Agreed 👍!
Omigosh!! She called that skull Ulrich! That's an Easter Egg from an episode of the live action series called "Dig that Cat"!
She's saying Yorick...as in Hamlet?
So I realized a coupld of hours after I posted
@@jeffreydotson4842 Though it still could be a reference to the HBO series episode 'Top Billing' ... Where two competing actors vie for a role in a very eccentric production of Hamlet..
Replace woman with angel and we got a Doctor Who episode
Tears of joy from 19:10-19:22.🥲
what a rude ghost, could at least say thanks LOL
After his success at HBO, the vault keeper and the witch had had enough of being left out in the dust. They decided to terrorize the crypt keeper for taking the spotlight.
this chapter reminds me the movie mama.
agustin cuevas mendoza the same as me
So....did mildred just like....ninja the teddy bear or did she pay for it? Also why did they get freaked out when the teddy bear appeared in their back seat? I feel like the kid gave it to them as a thank you present or something.
always wondered why kids are driving in this ep
16 year olds can drive
cutie patootie it's 18 here in Canada also I always thought they were 13-14
I dunno, they might be a bit older than the other episode they were in. Anyway, that would be news to me because I walk or get my buds to drive me around. I honestly haven't thought about driving in a while, maybe it changed.
Of course, any logical inconsistencies are moot since it's just a story in the Cryptkeeper's book.
cutie patootie it's ok I'm 27 and still don't have a driver's licence or know how to drive
Lol. I am almost 25 and look like a teenager. Still I cannot drive xD
if anyone wants a grown up version of this, watch the movie "mama" aka the cleaver rip off version of this tale :)
Mama sucked
So ironic because my sister’s name is Camille and she’s the scaredy one 😂 XD
It's odd, because in the previous episode that featured them ("Fare Tonight") they were _both_ horror aficionados. Not sure why Mildred suddenly became easily scared, but it's pretty jarring.
Idk why I got shane and Ryan from buzzfeed unsolved vibes from this lol 🤣
yes, it's your head!
It feels like as I am in Hawaii with that music from 07:20-07:28. 🏝 🌴 😎 🌞
Pre-Waze and Google map lol. - 28 Nov 2018
9:58 Is that Lester’s Possum Park I hear
i wonder how old they were driving were they 16
I Love Brown Boots!
i wonder the same thing
OLDWITCH!!!!!!!
8:09 ... is that noise what i think ? xD . did they farted the light ? xD
No, she blew the light out by blowing air. Lol

Why is the live action way more cruel and violent than this?
I’m assuming this is the kids version
Yeah, but I have seen more violent animated cartoon similar to that
I actually prefer the children's cartoon over the live action show.
From what I've seen, the live action show is a gore fest that relies on cheap thrills and standard horror flick fare (though I haven't seen much, so perhaps I'm mistaken). But the kid's show works hard to build a sense of dread, and finds ways to get under your skin. It's remarkably good at giving you a near-constant sense of unease, which is what horror _should_ be.
1. Because it's HBO. The show was aimed at adults and horror movie fanatics.
2. The comics themselves were cruel and violent for the 1950s, and the show is no exception. A lot of the episodes are even directly based on the actual Tales from the Crypt comics, and its sister series (Vault of Horror, Haunt of Fear, Shock Suspenstories), just modernized with creative liberties.
3. While not with every episode (because there are some duds), the HBO show also worked hard to build dread, fear, and suspense, with an emphasis on the supernatural. Not every episode is a mindless gorefest. Watch the show again.
Keep in mind that I still think Tales from the Cryptkeeper does stay in spirit with both the comics and HBO series quite well while being for younger audiences, and is still a decent series worthy of bearing the Tales from the Crypt name.
Love yourself Selena Gomez and hailey Baldwin he is my future husband
that movie suck
Aren't these two girls the ones from the vampire story?
Yes
Fare tonight is the episode
These two, Camille and Mildred, were hilarious on Fare Tonight. Brave, curious, daredevils and dumb, but also hilarious. I love their one-liners and how they act like it was no big deal when facing a vampire.
This story had really quite a beautiful ending.
😮
My favorite story! The two girls reminds me of myself and my mate. We were the only girls in our class which were into spirits, vodoo, astrology, magic stuff, and ghost stories. I have worn short bob haircut, have pale skin and is scared of monsters and ghosts like Mildred. My mate is like Camille, has natural curly hair, acts as if she is braver and is stubborn 😄
We were lucky to have shows like this when we were kids
The owner of the hotel's name is Mrs. Bates xD
Somebody call the freaking GHOSTBUSTERS!!
this show is awesome, cant believe i just discovered it today.
haha yea this show is great I used to watch it all the time in the 90's it had pretty good animation for back then.
2:59 So, What do get when you cross a Witch with an Igloo?
*A Cold Spell!*
Its like if Velma were given shaggy's personality and Daphne give Fred's
I wish they bring this bk loved it as a kid and I still do .
So THAT's where that creepy Banshee-like ghost from the intro came from!
I love this show so much I remember watching it as a child and it would often make my day, on an entirely different note I was wondering weather Camille and Mildred were a couple? They just remind me of one I knew a few years back.
even as a kid, i thought they might be a couple. either way, its a good story :)
+Peter Cooper I definitely do not think that Mildred and Camille were a couple. An under age inter racial Lesbian relationship in a 90's kids cartoon? I don't think so somehow. Why couldn't they just be friends?
that's why it's only implied, duh
It was the 1990s, anything is possible.
This is one of my favourite episodes
I just watched Fare Tonight (the episode where Mildred and Camille first appear) so I had to watch this too. I loved this as a kid and still do, this was a good episode but did anyone notice Mildred didn't pay for the teddy bear! Shoplifting!
I like old witch jokes
Loved this cartoon as a kid!
Until next time boys n gouls. Creep out of trouble Because I LL BE WATCHING. Hahahahahahaha.
Yep until next time
2:40 - 2:52 Really? I thought it was "Poultry-geist". LMAO!!!!!!
good one Kelley!!! hahahahahahah!
Thanks! LMAO!
GET OFF THE STAGE!
perhaps the old hostess was the weeping woman, here in México,we have our weeping woman, better known as the crying woman.
La Llorona
What happened to the innkeeper? I thought she would be revealed as the ghost.
You think the Ghost mother would have looked in the shop herself after all those years lol
For some reason both ghosts were bound to the places they were haunting and couldn't leave.
Kelley Talleda Yes, but can't she travel a few blocks? The daughter did.
The mother probably didn't know where her daughter was.
Caillou
the mothers soul is bound to the timber they used from the wreckage of the ship and the daughters soul is bound to the teddy bear the mother cannot leave but the daughter can via Mildred carrying the teddy
HMM dark spooky Attic ...AAAAK CLOWN!!!
good episode
You know, if there are ghosts, they could make BIG bucks haunting hotels and fun houses, not that they need it, unless they're like the cryptkeeper, and need to pay for their playghoul lifestyle
BTW Did Mildred pay for the Teddy ?
No maybe not
Omg I remember I used to watch this ^^
Hey bro very nice story
To get off the stage. hahahaha
Mrs. Bates xD
That was scary D=
Fucking camille XD
Really? after sutch a beautifull ending showing these girls what there doing is worth well thee Just quite being paranormal investigators to Just start a Teddy bear shop... What the hell?... Also these girls clearly are a couple
lol they made fun of an Asian's bad driving even on a kid show. cx
Am I the only one who ships them?
I kind of dig Crypt Keeper x Vault Keeper having a one night stand. Or a couple of one night stands. The Old Witch probably got involved with at least one.
I ship it
Mildred got boring I liked Camille better. Alot of us prefer adventure anyway!
