I didnt use the exact filling, i just used beef and other things, but the dough itself and the method. So good. Rly runny, Thank you so much!
Great to hear that you liked it! Thanks for trying!
Very clever use of everyday items to make a stove top steamer. I'm really glad I watched.
We made these nikuman today....aaaand it was ほんとに 美味しかった!!!!どもありがとうございます!!!!
We dont use Shitake...but it was also good without it!
Hi Runny-san! Thank you for making blah-blah time because I am always curious to the things you said but you fast-forwarded it in your previous videos. Once again, thank you!
Hi, I am studying in Florida, and I have been tired of eating instant noodles. But I just watched your website cooking noodle using chicken. I will stop at Publix and get some chicken and cook noodles. makes my mouth watering. During the winter break, I will try your recipes one by one. Thank you so much for creating this wonderful and helpful channel!
Yesss. Nikuman (and kareman, etc) is one of my favorite foods in Japan. I have to learn how to make this properly before I go back to America.
Wow bao is my favorite breakfast everyday! Looks yummy!
わー、ありがとう! it worked. I used some sausage filling with egg and spices and worked like magic. THX!
This channel is a blessing

I ate my first nikuman ever tonight.
It took me a long time to prepare (about 2 hours) because I'm not too familiar with cooking lol
I will experiment with the taste because, I found it a little too sweet...
Thanks for the recipe!!
I have made it today using your recipe...deliciouuuuus! Thank you very much! It's easier than it seems^^.
Is Baking powder normal / traditional?
Because I always use yeast dough, when making german "steam noodles" or russian "Manti". Is BP better or is there a difference in taste?
yeast itself has a certain flavor that is present when steamed so baking powder would be better i'm not sure if it is traditional but my dad always makes the dough with baking powder and it is always delicious. I think it is also a bit faster since you do not need to wait for the yeast to ferment to make the air inside the dough.
uhm..Manti is NOT Russian..it's Turkish!!
I asked me exactly the same
I love your videos man! I'm dieting a bit now so just salads every day. :( I get a slice of pizza on the weekends though. It keeps me going. Your videos are great too. Once I lose enough weight maybe I'll try making nikuman. I haven't had it in Japan, so I'd like to try it!
Looks so good i will be trying this recipe out soon thanks
I've always wanted to try these! Yummers
Melhor vídeo aprendendo a fazer o Nikuman. Parabéns!
You're the best I love Japan
That looks delicious! It looks like a dumpling. I'll surely make this in the weekend. =D
Thanks runny now i know hot to make the dough!!
I LOVE Nikuman!
Man that looks good. Gonna make that this week.
Great recipe!! Tried it last night and loved it. However, when making the dough I noticed it was a little tough when I added 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder so when I made more (had too much filling) I used just a little over a tsp and they came out perfect!
Thank you so much runny san for making this video ^_^
Super yum, thanks for the recipe. 🐮
I'm going to go this with ground turkey!
Thank you for sharing. Very yummy!
I like to use lean ground beef in mine - I have had the kind where there is a boiled egg in the middle - sooo yummy!
Wow, I had no clue Runny, I would have thought you grew up cooking!
Your cooking show is funny & yet so yummy. LOL ♡
Thanks for posting this recipe, I want to try it. :)
I love all your videos and the fact that they are prepared with a sincere heart. I believe that is the most important thing to guarantee and delicious and meaningful meal. Keep it up RunnyRunny999!
Thank you so much Runny :D I had watched the Cookingwithdog recipe, but somehow the dough was very long to make, and I don't have a steam cooker.. But thanks to you now I can make my own nikuman :D and feel stupid for not having thought about the steam trick earlier.
Yum! Definitely gonna try this!! Thanks Runny;)
Oh man, i was waiting for this video! thank you so much, i will make this very soon *u*!
Haha mayo goes well with most things! I'll try making the nikuman. Thanks Runny! :3
talking time is awesome as ever!!
This recipe is really the best I like the dough with backing powder.
Cuz there is a other version with hefe. its not that good i think.
Yummy! But pizza can be healthy too! Make a cauliflower crust, use fresh tomatoes and a good cheese and basil, omg, so good!
I notice that the japanese cuisine requires a lot of time and effort. Is that something cultural? I wish the Dutch put so much love and care into their dishes. I love love love japanese food!!
Runny, I freaking love you right now!! First of all, I love Nikuman and have made it several times after seeing it on Cooking with Dog, but it would take me 2 hours to make it! Your version looks just as delicious and so much faster!!! Second of all, the way you say Costco is adorableeeee!! :D :D
they were so good!
Im happy i foudn your channel.
Everything tastes good with Japanese Mayo!
As good as you cook, I can't believe you like Domino's. That's imitation pizza...
I made those tonight and they turned our really well and they were very tasty :-)
I just love to listen to your stories at the end
You're very innovative!
You live near a Costco!? I want to go! You made nikuman look so easy to make. My family will be so excited when I can make them when I go back home. We have always loved steamed pork buns, but they aren't easy to find in my home town.
oww Runny xDD thanks for the talking time !! You should do it more often(:
Thanks for the steaming method (:
This sounds yummy!
Man...You're the best! Thanks xD
I love these small "brioche" and they're really better than pizza !!! :-)
aww i wanted to hear "Rorri up" when he was rolling out the dough; lol
PIZZA IS SO GOOD! I still remember your pizza video and how much more expensive it is in Japan!
Also don't force yourself to talk runny let it come normally! Like in all those videos that you fast forwarded just don't fast forward this time. You're great Taro and you don't need to worry about what you say here!
looks amazing
これ見て肉まん作りたくなってきた!
手作り肉まんおいしそう!!!
Hi Noriko!
+runnyrunny999 Thanks for the explanation! I look forward to making these some day.
Is there any kind of sauce you would suggest that would go good with this?
Ah gawd looks really tasty!
I will try this recipeeeeee
Looks great :) what can I use instead of mushrooms?:):)
Thank you soo much for making this RunnyRunny-san! >.< I always have a problem making the dough, but you made it look simple. Will definitely try it this weekend. :)
I know c3po626 he a good friend of mine :)
Costco pizza for the win
RUNNY! that looks so good! I'm chinese and I haven't had steamed buns for like 5 months because i'm living in the UK now. I'm totally craving for it. Have you ever had the hot dogs at Costco? They're so good! Can't wait to go back to Canada!
these look so cute
Thanks for this 🐮
Now i am hungry for some
ah I love it when my mom makes these =w=
"looks like wrinkled old man" xD haahhahaah
I like the video.
Its that easy???? omg I'm gonna make some, I fricken love those
awesomeanni not yet :( been wanting to still! It looks easy enough
Are you Vietnamese? I'll definitely made one myself.
looks good
I made this today but with a slight variation. I used leftover pork shoulder instead of ground pork. Taste was great but I overstuffed a couple of the buns and that caused a few small holes in them. No problem, it was my first time trying this. I will get better with practice.
Looks delicious! We can actually cook without the dog lol!
Hey Runnyrunny! I was wondering, is there a reason why your rolling pin is not one that rotates? I see you manually rolling your dough everytime and I'm wondering if it's preference or if it's because that's all there is over there or if you never bothered getting another one or something?
Also, I would like to thank you for making those "Blahblah" tests at the end of your videos, I see you're trying really hard and it makes your video unique and I like it a lot!
Also, Love the recipe! :)
Normally chinese use these kind of rolling pins for dim sum skin because you can roll with a hand and rotate the dough with another
Yum! I love your videos.
Doughをつくるのがめんどくさそうだけど、つくってみたくなった~! 牛肉でつくってみるのはどうだろう? たぶん豚挽き肉は近所のスーパーには売ってない。
Thanks for sharing how to make this. How much salt do you add for the dough mixture?
Woo hoo! Costco!!
蒸し器なくても蒸し料理できるんですね。参考になりました^^
There is something alike to this in hong kong (Dim sum) char Siew bao
The meat is mixed with red coloring
And it taste yummy!
This is because this is the Japanese version of the Char Siu Bao, Chinese invented it first.
you need to try with chili seasoned paste or anything chili~~ it's really nice that way
someone please tell me the story behind the glasses and wig??
love these runny and buy them all the time - maybe I should try making them
so there is no "standing joke" or story on why he wears them?
今度コストコに行く時チキンベーク食べてみて!シーザードレシングかけたてめちゃくちゃ美味しい(^^) カリフォルニアに住んでた時それよく食べてた(笑)
