I begged my daughter not to make these (I hated the ones in the store-my only experience with these). Boy, was I shocked!! She made them anyway, and I loved them!!! I couldn't believe it!! I no longer hate steamed buns (still hate the ones in the store). But, I love this recipe!! We didn't have any hamburger so she used a food processor and took a roast beef and ground it up to this-fantastic!! Maanchi, how do you make everything taste so good??? I haven't found a recipe that you make that I don't like!! Every one of your recipes are a winner!! You have an amazing gift from God.

Maangchi She wants to be like you. She talks a lot about wishing she could go visit you for a week and learn as much as she can about cooking Korean food (she plays your videos and cooks your food every week). I would love to learn about your cooking classes. That is something she would to do. I just found your cookbook on amazon. I am buying it for her-yeah!!

I think Maangchi has a magical power to make every cooking look simple and easy. Most recipes do sound difficult and actually have a lot of steps. But she makes it sound so easy and makes me want to try making them. I have made few things following her recipes that I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't seen her videos. Thanks!!

You are an absolutely beautiful GEM! Love your recipes but it's also wonderful seeing how you personally have grown and come so far since this video from 12 years ago - and the recipe still looks so bloody good ! Will be making these this weekend - I made steamed buns from another recipe last weekend, and they were really good BUT I knew I could do better and that you would show me how. *THANK-YOU* for sharing and being such a good teacher. I wonder if you'll ever realize how much you have done for Korean food and culture and for people's cooking skills. I'm so looking forward to the celebration of 6 MILLION subscribers! Hugs from Sydney Australia.

I am an American who lived in Korea for many years. I love watching your videos because it makes me reminisce about all of the amazing Korean food that I had the privilege of eating during my time there. I love 찐빵만두 and there was a good spot in 대연 that I ate kimchi mandu at all the time. I also miss all the delicious 돼지국밥 in Busan. Cheers and thanks for sharing your love of Korean food with the world.

My teenagers loved. I had some stuffing leftover so we eat it with rice. I would like to make this and save it for later, what is the best method? I will appreciate your answer. These look wonderful, I have a ton of asian chives in the yard, and I'm making pot stickers tomorrow, I may just do these as well, thanks maangchi, I tell everyone about this site when they like your recipies - I think the funniest one was making kkakdugi with the raw oysters, and letting it ferment at room temp for a few days while we went out of town, it exploded all over the counter and it was a real leap of faith to eat what was still in the container and had not bubbled over, but it turned out brilliantly, looking forward to more! By the way, your fried chicken, just using the potato starch is the all time bomb, everyone loves it.

Hi Maangchi, I made these pork buns tonight & they turned out great!! At first I was a bit unsure about the zucchini but after eating a bun I absolutely love the addition of it now as it adds a lovely flavour plus moisture to the filling. The sauce was too hot for woosey me ....even with only 1chilli added!!
Lol so I just had soy & sesame oil for my dipping sauce . Thanks so much for the great teaching marvellous Maangchi, you're wonderful. 💗💐😊
