I really wanted to chime in on the tc discussion: I recently started using the "select all town centers" hotkey and im absolutely loving it. Shift+h -> shift+a is all it takes me to que up to 5 vills (evenly distributed across tc's), all without having to look away from fights.
Thanks for this kind of videos Hera. You show us different situations that might seem trivial for pro players and comment on how to take better decisions, like the town watch tip. Keep up this awesome content!

You guys talked a lot about Spearmen and Pikemen vs Cavalry, but didn't mention Camel Riders. He made 2 stables; as Chinese, he could've made Camels alongside the Chu Ko Nu instead of making Light Cavalry. Dash said he's thinking of only gold units and of "Knights and Archers", but he's not thinking about ALL possible gold units Chinese can make. Monks and Camels are very underutilised IMO. Great series start and idea btw Hera. I'm around 1300 ELO and I've found a lot of helpful tips I can pick up!
I have a question about the light cav: You said he should go pikes against the knights (makes sense) but doesnt that give the opponent the easy decision to go full scirms (against Chu ko no and pikes)? Or is it pikes first and behind that start building the stables? Awesome series btw, this is so much fun to watch, keep it up

Archer rush is such a risky strat for starters because its so easy to loose your archers to TC fire or scouts with low micro skills, and loose map control. But the satisfaction to successfully split under mongonal fire

I'm about 1100 elo now and climbing up. This gives me hope I might actually be somewhere around 1300-1400 already. I had a one and a half year break from the game so it takes a little getting used to still.
there is a hotkey for select all towncenters. i put it on a mouse hotkey, and then you just get in the habbit of pressing the hotkey and make vills. you dont even jump back to the economy
This was frustrating to watch because Dash's elo is 100 points higher than mine even though I'm very confident I'm better than he is. Apparently if I started going all archers, I could be 1350 elo. Or maybe it was just a bad game from him. I got some good tips from Hera though.
I don't think Hera wants to coach more people right now. As he said during his stream, the 4 players he is coaching were just here at the right place and the right time, and he doesn't want to coach more than 4. You can try to follow his twitch and hope he will be looking for more players to coach in the future...

Please, please don't take game play advice from Spirit of the Law. His channel can be technically informative and serves as entertainment value, but it doesn't play out in games. Someone like Hera is the *ideal* person to learn game timing from. I've also found that TheViper, while mostly a troll streamer (again, great entertainment, but not much valuable information to be gained), will also clue you in to how the meta is adjusting, especially after patch releases. If you see him fall in love with a new unit or civ, call a unit broken, etc. that's a non-so-subtle hint that it can give you a big advantage in games.

@@boogie5 its pretty straight forward, the more vills you have the better the effect of wheelbarrow/hand cart I usually get it either on my way to imp or when im floating a lot of resources so early in game you should prioritize army and vills, its more effective
seriuosly this inst real 1250 elo....go try beat some 12+++ being same level. They will smash u. Idk if alot of smurfs or what. But they way beyond this level

You get a lot of value if that neutral island doesn't have a woodline.🤔

I usually make 1 spear and keep it in my barracks if I'm going archers if my opponent hasn't scouted me yet.

IIRC, he found that you should get wheelbarrow at around ~38 vills and handcart at around ~80.
