Here is the actual best was to kill the Expert AI: at game start, send your Explorer to the enemy town, and shoot at an enemy villager. The AI will retreat all its villagers to its towncenter. Wait for them to come out at a save distance, and repeat. In this way the AI will never have enough resources and will be forever stuck in age 1 without the possibility to ever make a single militairy unit.
Yep, thats totally legit. But you always have to jump between your tc and your explorer. I would not do it for eg 25mins. But cntrl1 for explorer and cntrl2 for tc makes it very easy (some beginners who dont do the cntrl -number because they do not see the assigned unit - will not)

Settlers 2. It's an ancient game, really, really old, from the early 90', I think. It was remastered. It's a strategy, and or looks like it has a solid exploiting potential. I love it, I used to play it all the time. I don't know whether this franchise is older than HoMM, but it's about as old as HoMM2 or so. It ran on MSDOS, and later on Windows 3.1 maybe. I love your content Spiff but calling this an exploit or somehow an indication of poor game balance is a massive stretch. This strategy requires way too much set up and you would be absolutely shat on in a multiplayer game, especially if your opponent simply puts straight up soldiers and resources in their deck and puts on pressure early. In fact, I could see this strat failing horribly in a 1v1 with the AI on expert difficulty; or even hard for that matter.
But he always says his exploits work on every difficulty, i mean, thats why he plays on the lowest ones Also he said that it's unbeatable and since he plays vs basic AI that doesn't even use mortars or just bash his Teepees with canons he is obviously right with the insane exploit he found here

I didn't see Sioux artillery. If they lack the means of producing or buying artillery, they couldn't shoot back against heavy artillery without closing the distance, right? If so, couldn't another civilization just use artillery against the tipi squares and force the Sioux to either stay in place and be obliterated, or leave the tipi zone to try to destroy the artillery?
The spiffing brit when he accidentally makes something up in a video, and then vocally hopes people don't ever say it: WHY ARE YOU ALL ASKING "Whats up my guges?" NOW?!
You need to show off the Calvary box glitch in this game. You activate advanced unit formations from the settings, make a box of melee Calvary, put a single ranged Calvary in the middle, activate defensive command, and then move all the Calvary at once. It makes a tiny condensed box of Calvary that can get into extremely tiny spaces and pretty much one shot buildings. It’s a beautiful little exploit

Its actually really strange, hearing people talk about not knowing much about native americans. Growing up in school we had many classes having to do with native american history, even some field trips to sites of our more local tribes history. I suppose it would be the same with other countries that may have their own histories that maybe I would know very little about.

The damage output is so huge that they kill faster the experimental units that they ready a shoot, and the lesser units are unable of actually breaking too, which makes land wars imposible in some maps if someone knows this. Tested againts 3 enemies that focused all their armies on me for several hours. Also tested in 1 vs 2 players, still unable of overtaking the place with ground units.
You know there was a very similar bug like this in the first civilization game ever made, where some antique infantry units with bonuses could take on modern tanks and missile units. Though I find your style of editing much more amusing. Kudos for finding this one
I live near souix city which is a city in northwest Iowa and it was founded after the souix tribe. Some families that live in Sioux City have great great grandparents that were part of the souix, so it was cool to watch him use the souix and know that I live really close to where the tribe was. The tribe was a travelling tribe and lived in the teepees which were very portable. The souix usually didn't live in one spot, but they always stayed in the Midwest area.

This is late but there is an Aztec exploit. If you dance with healing with max number of people, you can have an immortal army. The chief gets knock down and gets up in less than a second.
Then you're not Sioux. Don't pretend like because your great great great great grandpa plowed a settler and now your 0.000000000000001% that you're "Sioux".
Age of empires 3 is the shit! I played it 5 times more than ate of kings. Literally sank a full two weeks worth of hours into it! Since I re-purchased the game
Found myself a lovely exploit usable in the current version of Stellaris to have invincible ships. Albeit it's a bit mid-game, but it's literal invincibility. First, you're going to need all the major expansions, and the Lithoids race pack. Secondly, make a Terravore civilization. (Devouring Swarm Lithoids) By base, they regenerate 0.25% of their hulls and armors of all their ships (and starbases/defensive structures) every day. That's not a lot, but it gets better, trust me. Next, you'll want to personally create versions of all your ship and defensive structures that have no shields, but massive amounts of armor. Focus on upgrading your armor technologies, getting them to level 5 armor, and armor +5% bonuses whenever possible, as well as hull upgrades for ships. The last two steps have to do with psionics. You'll have to learn Psionics and make your entire civilization be psionics via the Transcendence ascension perk. Learn to make and create at least one Titan or larger ship, and of course, give it only armor. Finally, the part you've been waiting for; the nigh-invincibility. This one takes a bit of luck with communing with The Shroud. Commune with The Shroud until you run into an option that says "Ship Repair". For the next 60 months after every time you activate the "Ship Repair" Shroud event successfully, you will increase your daily hull and armor regen by another 0.5%. This means all of your ships will be healing for 0.75% of their maximum armor and hulls every single day. How does this make you invincible though? It's just simple health regeneration, right? Titan ships have a 10,000 base hull. That's 100 health regenerated a day, which means 100 damage is negated, by base. This is of course, an unupgraded Titan ship with no armor, no bonuses from admirals and technologies. Lastly, the final piece of the puzzle, a Juggernaut. After you build a Juggernaut, units it's in the same space as will never die, ever. Juggernauts are unique in that you can only build one, it counts as a space station with the ability to directly repair ships and create new ones, and come with a special aura effect of your choice. We're of course going to choose the one that mimics our Terravore bonus of 0.25% hull and armor regeneration per day. In total, all of your ships near the Juggernaut are going to regenerating 2% of their total health bar per day, which means any damage an enemy can deal under that number is effectively zero. To make it even better, the Juggernaut by itself has a 100,000 health hull by base, meaning the enemy would need to do over 1,000 damage a day to it to even begin to scratch it. It is possible to do more than 1,000 damage daily with a ship, but when you're not regenerating 2% of your lifebar, you're going to lose to the enemy who is.
I'm pretty sure you were supposed to create the TP's in a line and slowly 'worm' towards the enemy bases. Build one in front of the line, of like ten TP's, and sell the one in back. You should be able to actually win the game by worming through the map to destroy all of the enemy bases.

I remember you once told us a while back that you had exploits for Rome Total War (the first game). That's basically a childhood-memory game, and I'm sure there are many of us who'd like to see you destroy that childhood.
Imagine being a British soldier sent to raid a nearby Sioux encampment. All they've got is some teepees set up. Once you approach, an archer spots you. Before you can get out of the way, he nocks an arrow and fires, and the man next to you is suddenly missing a head. A shootout instantly begins, four musketmen versus a single archer. Again and again, entire body parts are seemingly deleted from their bodies, the only remains being a spray of blood. You swear the musket balls just shatter against his skin. From the corner of your eye, you see a small child wielding a stone knife. You aim your weapon, finger trembling against the trigger. But you don't even have the chance to consider shooting, because you've already been sliced cleanly in half.
Rodeleros ("shield bearers"), also called espadachines ("swordsmen") and colloquially known as "Sword and Buckler Men", were Spanish troops in the early 16th (and again briefly in the 17th) century, equipped with steel shields known as rodela and swords (usually of the side-sword type)

In true british colonist fashion Spiffco in its natural habitat, proceeds to butcher native tribes' sacred names and desecrates their honour by calling them "teepee troopers".
This tactic can be trivially countered, just build mortars, blow up teepees from 40 range. You can either come out and fight me without your turtle bonuses, sit and watch while I blow your camp to flinders.
Dude I loved chilling out playing single player AOE 3 with native american civs. SADLY, I haven't had the hardware to be able to play the game for at least 5 years. Thanks for _reminding_ me what I'm missing lol
"We've won" Show me the victory screen then ;) In AOE3 a lot of civs are broken, but: 1. They usually are in the very late game. 2. If everyone is OP then no one is. So yeah, Sioux have an immortl army... just in their base. Russians can build 3 forts in front of enemy bases... when mortars are already available. French can instantly create their elite Cavalry... which is difficult to counter, right, but if you let the enemy go to that point then well. I actually like that these OP mechanics are in this game as they allow to finally break impas and let someone win unlike in e.g. Cossacks where games can take hours and may never end, unless the enemy is not watching at the moment.

"Sioux" is a term coming from the French, the absence of pronunciation rules in English randomised its pronounciation but in French it is and was always fixed from its spelling. SI - OU - X : "si" is pronounced as "see", "ou" as the "oo" of "loose", and the "X" is silent. Seminole comes from the Spanish "Seminola". The non subjective pronounciation would therefore be : "sé" ( s sound + "é" as in café or pokémon) - "me" - "no" - "la". I guess the "la" became a simple "l" sound in english. The English pronounciation is really messed up. It confused it's rules between Germanic and Latin roots, leading to this kind of modern nonsense.
I played a ton of FFA AOE3 back in the day. Fire dance through their 7 layers of walls, snipe first town center, then build stables and teepees in their base with wakinas
2 games you should give a look. the first is sd gundam g generation cross rays. a pretty fun game, there are 2 "not exploits" you can make use of, the first is to get an overpowered machine early that is borderline indestructible for most of the early missions. to do so you start with a moebius, and level it to 11 so you can upgrade into a zamza-zah. at the start it might be a bit rough to do, and you can level it to 2 to upgrade into a nuke version to make it easier to kill enemies. one of the best missions would be the first mission of the gundam seed astray(not to be confused with the Xastray) both moebius are space only, but the zamza-zah can be used anywhere. the second tip is to build your starting phoenix zero > phoenix zero one > phoenix gundam > tallgeese > tallgueese F > Gundam wing zero EW > gundam wing EW > gundam wing zero EW. the reason you downgrade the zero EW into the wing EW is so it becomes avaliable in the shop. now you can sell the wing zero EW, and buy as many wing EW, that you can upgrade into the zero EW to sell for ALOT of money. the best part is, you can easily level a team of EWs using the dispatch. the second game is none other than Dark Souls. and the tip is to farm an early Black Knight Halberd. you can make do with any BK weapon, but the halberd is considered the best, the best part is, you can easily upgrade it completely wihtout killing any boss. which will basically give you an weapon that can destroy ANYTHING in the game with minimal effort. the only other thing you will need is the stats to use it of course. from there, you could grab the stone knight armor for an absurd defense, and the havel ring to be able to wield all that. get enough endurance to be able to "normal roll". and than you can fill your vitality to get a massive HP. hell, you could even put some points into int to use some spells if you really want to(like invisibility, or light). the only problem is that the bk weapons arent garanteed, and you might need to restart the game to get it to drop(but it shouldnt take more than 10 minutes to try, half that once you get the gist of how to).

try wars of liberty modpack
That is very nice, but not really an exploit, rather the game working ad intended.

Another fun one is the Aztecs. Full building hp/damage w/building dance and you have walls with 38k hp and huts with 29k that hit for 500. It's great.
I'm pretty sure you were supposed to create the TP's in a line and slowly 'worm' towards the enemy bases.
Build one in front of the line, of like ten TP's, and sell the one in back. You should be able to actually win the game by worming through the map to destroy all of the enemy bases.

Don't forget the Oprichnik square that is super compacted and demolishes everything.
The French elite cavlary can get more than 1000 HP with the good cards. I love let the enemy approach and release 50 of them while eating pop corns.
Dang, I really enjoyed Age of Empires III. Thanks for making me feel like a loser with that intro.
Wakina - Wah-key-nah, means *Thunder*
Cetan - Chay-tohn, means *Hawk*
Tashunke - Dah-shoon-kay, means *Horse*
You really have to play Wars of Liberty. It's a mod with 40+ civs for AoE3
Indian : I win. You can't beat me.
Euro: Yes, you win. Here have a celebratory blanket to mark the occasion. Cough...
Indian : WTF all my people died of smallpox
Euro : It's free real-estate bro
Spiff--there's a game I want you to try very badly, has so many exploits and glitches but it's a timeless classic--Stronghold 2.
Elysian Prince
I literally passed up Stronghold 1 on GOG to download Master of Magic a week ago.
Spiffy, it's pronounced "Su" or "Sue".
Seminole or se-min-ol'
By the way, thanks for your videos! YOU ARE HILARIUS! Stay Spiffing as always!

The non subjective pronounciation would therefore be :
"sé" ( s sound + "é" as in café or pokémon) - "me" - "no" - "la".
