Your little message of telling us we are cared about honestly made me happy, Im up at 4am listening to your commentary to help me sleep as your videos are engaging but also relaxed, and it reminded me of my fiance who loves me so much and I always question it because something so great feels so unreal- so thank you for that, it cut off my overthinking :) And I get what you mean by your memories of Lucky! I have a cat called Puss (we did not know what to name her aha) and my mother saved her when she was less than a week old (presumably) and being beaten by teens, it was a miracle she survived. I was 10 months old when it happened so logically have no recollection, but I remember it- and I can only word it how you worded your own experience! She's 15 now, but not slowing down at all! She was spayed at 7, and they accidentally found out she had a severe hernia when spaying her- it saved her life by chance as she presumably would only have about a week left if unchecked, the poor thing's a fighter- she never changed how she act, we never would have known! I hope your dog Lucky is well, and if they have passed on, I know the sweet little thing had a great owner, you seemed extremely fond in your anecdote! Do share more of these chatty conversations in your videos, I enjoy listening to them!
The memory talk is something I've been thinking about a lot, I remember a person that died when I was freshly newborn. I remember when asking about that person, my mom was really confused how I remember that (I only saw him once in bed dying) Human brain is really interesting IMHO
In reguards to Saudi Arabia: If you've used the scenario creator, you can see that the country has regular flights to RANDOM countries, unlike other routes which are set t9 go to selected countries

I love playing this game and seeing no one left alive in the countries, looking at the map menu and it’s just like “US has been eradicated, Canada has been eradicated” or w/e and seeing the locations in the pictures going from there being a bunch of people to completely run down and deserted visually showing you that no one is left alive. something ive liked as a plague inc player is the little notch on the infectiviry bar for a country showing what i call the "point of no return' where the infected population is so large it only takes a few seconds for the country to go from
I enjoy playing this game on casual when i am having a bad day and naming the plague after myself. There is something empowering about seeing has deztroyed the world
Fun fact: severity does more than make you get noticed faster. The higher your severity the more DNA you get. You can easily notice in the parasite run that he gets something like 4 or 6 DNA per bubble when normally you get 1 or 2. That's the severity.
watching the vampire plague and laughing and thinking to myself, i wonder what kind of vampire easyspeezy would be, like "here i am in your house about to devour your blood in a second but first did you know someone in the world loves you, after i drink your blood and make you my minion you should give them a call, but now onto the main course.....which is killing you and turning you into my minon" LMFAO
The Planet of the Apes trilogy, in my opinion, is actually one of the best movie trilogies out there. It's not without its flaws, but every entry is a super solid movie in its own right and unlike other trilogies that are notorious for DRASTICALLY dropping off in quality in the later installments, this one holds strong until the end, with an emotional finale if you've watched from the start. As examples of other trilogies that I think handle themselves extremely well I'd list the Hunger Games and How to Train Your Dragon trilogies, with Maze Runner being pretty dang solid overall though with a few more blatant flaws than the others. Long story short, if the premise interests you, I definitely would encourage giving PotA a watch :)
It's interesting seeing shadow virus speedruns because I always learned to play it super slow and steady because if you don't trigger the actual infection and instead just sit in one place farming until you have like infinite points, you can basically just win every time
A little thing to note- Severity increases the number of DNA points you get from red bubbles, so upgrading some symptoms early on is a great way to get more points.
Actually, the topic you shared about the "manufactured memories" is truly fascinating! Your personal story, though 'fake' memory, really got me thinking. It's incredible how our memories can be shaped and influenced, especially at such a young age. Just a while ago, a friend and I were reminiscing about a trip we took, and through our conversation, some details seemed to get embellished or altered. It made me realize how susceptible our memories are to suggestion, not only in childhood but also in adulthood. I wonder how often this happens in various aspects of our lives. It's intriguing to consider the malleability of our recollections.
The random candy smell you get could actually be from a persons perfume/cologne, some have a hard candy smell and one of them might be close enough to that original candy smell that it reminds you each time.
What happens if you have exactly 1 survivor? I mean, theoretically, if there are 2 survivors, they COULD MAYBE repopulate the planet, so it makes sense you'd lose in that scenario, but if you have 1 lonely guy left wtf is he gonna do
If it's a woman you got artificial insemination from sperm banks. If it's a guy then you'd have test tube babies. But it'd have to be a smart person lol
Your memory tangent is sooo true. My family has a habit of telling the same stories over and over and over again so much so that I have “memories” of stuff I wasn’t even there for or stuff that happened when I was an infant
I love the little appreciation and love bits you give randomly in videos ❤ It really means a lot to some people to hear that, at the very least as a reminder. I also loved the memory parts lol. I don't have fake memories myself from stories people have told me from before I could remember (though I've heard many), but I do have memories no one else remembers lmao. I remember waking up in my bed on my fourth birthday, getting dressed, walking to the kitchen, and my mom was there with a white decorated cake with a big ol' 4 candle on it, she wished me Happy Birthday lol. The memory just ends there for me kinda, but my mom doesn't remember this at all, except she remembers the cake, but doesn't remember any decorations besides the 4 candle.

The fact that you mentioned the memories of someone telling you what happened while you were much younger... yeah, I have my own version of that. I don't have a vivid imagination that I remember it through my own mind... but I still remember it because of how many different times it was told. It starts like this: We lived in Italy because our dad was military. My older brother wanted to eat fruits... and saw a dish on the menu that translates to 'Fruits of the Sea'. He saw fruit and got it... found out it was seafood. Guess what my baby ass self decided to do? I ate all of it. I kept making a face that told everyone 'Bleh, I hate this' before I went back and have more. Fun fact: I actually like seafood now, so...
Hey, you're the most entertaining speedrunner on the platform rn. I never watch any speedruns but I watch you alot because you talk alot and explain every strat. I really enjoy listening to you ramble about stuff :D
Genetic drift does affect everything, which makes mega brutal so difficult. You can pick sympto-stasis, patho-stasis or trans-stasis, but not all of them at once, so you still have to be quick because everything is going to cost more and more
Not only is this nice to have on in the background while you're drawing but it's also nice to listen to you talk. Don't be ashamed to talk about random stuff to pass the time, I'm intrigued and interested :)
I’ve always been curious, do you keep all your route notes for these games? You could be the biggest speed runner help website ever if you did and uploaded them lol
Hell yeah, i loved this game. I could never get past virus though. (The second one, not the first one hahah) One thing a lot of people dont know you can sell traits back for DNA. So if you get a random mutation that you dont like, you can get rid of it. (He does this during the simian flu.) Also, madagascar and greenland were always the worst for me I had a good strategy that when id get any symptoms, you can delete them for DNA to use somewhere else, and id put it all into infection. Then once everyone was infected, id take all the DNA back and put it all into symptoms to just watch everyone die hahaha
What you mentioned about creating fake memories is both common and fascinating. Researchers studying testimonies after 9/11 found that witnesses' recollections of their memories changed as they received more information about the event. This phenomenon, known as 'memory conformity' or 'post-event misinformation,' shows how new information can alter or even create false memories. Some people even recalled details that were physically impossible.

Well basically, if that one person is a female and she can get to a sperm bank, humanity can continue, if she’s lucky and willing
@@lovelasnow lucky does not even begin to cover how unlikely that is.
* more than likely she would only start after starting to suspect she is the only one left alive in the world I doubt she would just assume that even year one.
* is still at the age she can have children.
* Knows how sperm banks work ie how that method of getting pregnant works.
* Hope the seed bank stays functional over multiple years with no electricity or maintenance.
* can survive pregnancy multiple times in a post apocalyptic wasteland with no proper medical care, or any help at all, all while raising infant children.
* also hoping that she has children of different genders as well
All of these factors combined, make it extremely unlikely for that to happen in my opinion.

Your little message of telling us we are cared about honestly made me happy, Im up at 4am listening to your commentary to help me sleep as your videos are engaging but also relaxed, and it reminded me of my fiance who loves me so much and I always question it because something so great feels so unreal- so thank you for that, it cut off my overthinking :)
And I get what you mean by your memories of Lucky!
I remember when asking about that person, my mom was really confused how I remember that (I only saw him once in bed dying)
Human brain is really interesting IMHO
In reguards to Saudi Arabia: If you've used the scenario creator, you can see that the country has regular flights to RANDOM countries, unlike other routes which are set t9 go to selected countries
After watching all of the Pravus mega brutal guides, this suddenly explains a LOT on why Saudi Arabia is a goated starting place.
Is random actually preferred in this case ? i thought speedruns generally favor known optimized routes
Ohhhhhh that’s why i thought he just doesn’t like us at all 😂😂😂😂
@@qwerasdf-oy6uobecause you want to spread out as much as possible random gives you a lot more options then just going back and forth through the same few places
“But it’s really nice when you can start killing”

"Oh boy! Here I go killing again"
i saw a review on the game and it was titled "God, I love wiping humanity!" 💀💀
with what toilet paper?
"We're actually going to use Saudi Arabia for our starting location for 9/11 plagues" 6:53
Thats what the school shooter said
I love playing this game and seeing no one left alive in the countries, looking at the map menu and it’s just like “US has been eradicated, Canada has been eradicated” or w/e and seeing the locations in the pictures going from there being a bunch of people to completely run down and deserted visually showing you that no one is left alive.
Also I just love the game’s music. It’s got that perfect touch of unnerving and spooky for a game where you’re playing as a disease trying to wipe out humanity XD
59:11 im pretty sure ive built memories around pictures and recordings from when i was younger, so that was very relatable. neat to see someone talk about it
57:53 freakin wholesome man. Unexpected, but I needed that today
Listening to the part about the candy, the way you described it immediately reminded me of the striped aniseed hard candies.they have a pretty distinct smell and taste, and it's also a spice so you would be able to smell it randomly. Probably not right, but just what I thought.
something ive liked as a plague inc player is the little notch on the infectiviry bar for a country showing what i call the "point of no return' where the infected population is so large it only takes a few seconds for the country to go from
Woooo!! Congrats man, this is a pretty significant game to hold a record in.
I enjoy playing this game on casual when i am having a bad day and naming the plague after myself. There is something empowering about seeing has deztroyed the world
57:30 deffo wasn’t expecting this but really needed to hear this so thank you ❤
Do ypu really need a stranger on youtuber to give you comfort?
With the fact the UK was the last attacked country I imagine the final battle was against Queen Liz risen from the grave.
15:46 Genetic Drift does effect all traits in any category, the “Stasis genes” make the cost of the traits in a category increase slower.
6:54 - ngl you unintentionally made the best pun ever
It's interesting seeing shadow virus speedruns because I always learned to play it super slow and steady because if you don't trigger the actual infection and instead just sit in one place farming until you have like infinite points, you can basically just win every time
I never realize how quick you can play this game or how long the whole thing actually was.
Even at 10:52, you’re already 3 plagues done.
It's intriguing to consider the malleability of our recollections.
the sudden love message at the end was so lovely and sweet. Thank you
The random candy smell you get could actually be from a persons perfume/cologne, some have a hard candy smell and one of them might be close enough to that original candy smell that it reminds you each time.
I never thought I'd start crying while watching a plague inc speedrun :')
Yeah I was not expecting that at all but it's good to hear from someone right?
Literally same Jesus I was not ready for that
why though?

What happens if you have exactly 1 survivor? I mean, theoretically, if there are 2 survivors, they COULD MAYBE repopulate the planet, so it makes sense you'd lose in that scenario, but if you have 1 lonely guy left wtf is he gonna do
He's gonna clone himself
If it's a woman you got artificial insemination from sperm banks. If it's a guy then you'd have test tube babies. But it'd have to be a smart person lol
1 lonely woman can theoretically restart the population, 1 lonely guy prob cant do shit

Tips: its a good idea to get more severity in early game of mega brutal since it gives you more dna per bubble popped
Very nice, watched it all through and big props to you for being able to talk all the time, it made it much more entertaining. Really enjoyed it... Keep it up

at around 57 minute mark. Thank you Speezy. You make my life better even when times are difficult. We appreciate you and know you are loved just as much as we are.
Pretty sure the severity also influences how much research is needed to make a cure; you can check the correlations in the graphs.
This guy just hit us with a random piece of eazyspeezy lore and then proceeded to say the most relatable thing ever
I love how by the end of the run there was no more speedrun tech to talk about so he just rambled about random thoughts
I’ve always been curious, do you keep all your route notes for these games? You could be the biggest speed runner help website ever if you did and uploaded them lol
This game always makes me anxious and worried about a random plague breaking out in the world but here I am watching anyways. Love you!!!
Hell yeah, i loved this game. I could never get past virus though. (The second one, not the first one hahah) One thing a lot of people dont know you can sell traits back for DNA. So if you get a random mutation that you dont like, you can get rid of it. (He does this during the simian flu.) Also, madagascar and greenland were always the worst for me
I had a good strategy that when id get any symptoms, you can delete them for DNA to use somewhere else, and id put it all into infection. Then once everyone was infected, id take all the DNA back and put it all into symptoms to just watch everyone die hahaha
i also did that... these days it can cost dna to unevolve, though, so i wouldn't recommend doing that ^^;;
@@catboytavi Oh really?? That sucks. That was my go-to strat hahaha, maybe it was too OP
It kinda depends on difficulty and the disease. But yeah. Most of the time it costs dna to unevolve.
6:50 using Saudi Arabia for 9/11 plagues is too meta
"We're gonna be using Saudi Arabia for 9 out of 11 plagues"
What did he mean by this?
I like how it changed from Eazy documenting the game to sharing his memories
Always up to the best of speed runs
Man, I love this game, it's rare for me to watch a full one hour video, amazing video as always!
You mentioned that severity is useless
However if you have higher severity, you get more dna points from red bubbles
57:56 I came here to watch a speedrun and ended up questioning the way our brains work and the fact that I think I remember many things I didn't even experience
Same. My parents told me a fake story and then I somehow created a fake memory of it then I was surprised to know it never happened
