this video was a banger for 2 reasons:
1) the match was really cool to watch, we dont see a lot of full feudal nowadays and the game was really close up until min 13-ish when Daniel managed to defend
2) the coaching was very informative like we really got to see how a pro player starts with a broad idea for a strategy and then switches unit types and build to better deal with the situation. next time just tell Daniel to slow down on the stone lol

Why not wall in Nili's forward buildings with palisade walls so they can't eject military units? A few moments when this could have been done after that initial sneak castle age push.

Also I wonder how many times people have reminded Hera that Hera is the Queen of the gods. So Hera is the Queen of AOE... Viper is King right? So I wonder what that does for their relationship.

11 it's not only infantry that speeds up rams you just cant select slow empty ones with full ones cause grouped they'lle only go as fast as the slowest one

Would a FC into Migration be a viable counter for Nili. Since Daniel's army was slow, by migrating to other areas of the map, wouldn't Nili buy himself more time?
It's a yolo strategy. If they don't find you, it can give you what you need to stay in the game, but if they do find you you usually lose all of the vills you send plus resources spent building and you're behind where you would have been. It can work really well on noobs like me, but the higher level players are usually better at knowing when to do some extra scouting to find those. Ultimately you need to destroy their army at this level of play, and one effective way to do that is to force a fight near your own buildings with extra TC fire and reinforcements coming quickly, as he tried to do defending his second TC, but Daniel just had a bit too much. If that TC hadn't gone down then things may have played out differently.

CrAZY idea: Make 2TC and just produce 10 vills more than the opponent. Don't have it producing constantly. Then you are not soooo far behind in castle time, but still have more vills probably.
question: Select random civ when learning to play or picking a civ is better?
I’m no Hera but I would choose a civ and get good at it. Then when you have a good grip on the starting economy, try different civs and come up with good build orders and learn their troop comps. A lot of this game is knowing how to react to every situation
Yeah, I also think just sticking with one civ and a play style until you think you have 'mastered' it is the way to go. Lately I've been focusing on playing only archer builds and thus I have been bouncing between Chinese, Saracens, Ethiopians, Vikings and Britons, so that's also a nice way of doing it.

u should just focus on clean build orders and improving ur macro, unit compositions and APM. its useless for 900s to get coached by a pro.
