To start off with you are a God send. The honesty and willingness to share that part of you with so many strangers is absolutely terrifying to me although I do understand that you have to take his power over you away. So here goes . The sexual molesting started at a very young age and when I would even act like telling mom that dad was touching in places and in ways I wasn't comfortable with that's when he started hitting me and then making me do that sick shit to him. I'm 50 years old now and still have to fight those night TERRORS all the time .
So if there is anyone reading my words PLEASE stay strong and find someone to help you . Don't dare wait till they are dead and gone . They should have to be punished for hurting you that way.

In my room, at least the biggest one. Are my memories of being mentally abused. For years I didn't understand why it happened to me and not my brothers. It wasn't until my mom told me I was diagnosed with Asperger's years later that I figured out that's why he more than likely did it. He didn't like the fact that I was "retarded" so he made sure to let me know. I actually write and draw to let out the pain I feel alot of the time. Not that anyone asked, but the last memory I have of him, is him driving me to my mom's house. Telling me how pathetic I am and how I should just kill myself the entire drive. A whole 20 minutes of it. When we got there the first thing I did was go to my room. I cried for hours and my mom didn't leave my side until I could tell her what actually happened. It doesn't get any easier to tell and I think about it alot. When I watch your videos and listen to NF it ACTUALLY helps me cause y'all are real about things. If anyone read this, I'm sorry it's so long. I tend to write in novels by accident alot of the time

Also I have been living in depression for 9 years kinda of my whole life but it wasn't neatly as bad as the past 9 years. I am 23 and I basically grew up never really living my parents and so called friends always just kept using me like a tool, I've had 2 gf's break up with me that I tried giving everything I had to be with, and just never really had anything else going right for me, I even nearly killed 3 people in my life, luckily I didn't but they were hospitalized. Through numerous times in my life I have attempted suicide 16 times and I really just have been lost and questioning my purpose believing I am born a curse. Eventually last year I made made myself vows to move forward and that's just to not really trust anyone, don't let my secrets and insecurities out ever to anyone, and just stay alone at least until everything is clear, I don't know if I will ever find that person I need in life or not. I have always blamed myself for everything, I always felt used and replaced, I have always pretty much hated myself, any compliments I get I just deny it because I don't believe any of it to be true because of what I went through and my trust issues. Overall I am doing okayish, I am doing more Japanese style of morality, practicing Haiku (a deeper form of meditation) learning to just control my emotions in a good way instead of bottling them up and so on etc. and here I am, but anyways sorry for basically my life story I just kinda vented it out 😅 great reaction and I look forward to see the next!

This is the problem with my overactive brain and a visualisation technique, I can visualise opening the door fine but then it's just a tornado of the most horrible graphic, triggering, memories from the past and then that tornado of traumatic visual scenes withdraws all emotion from those memories and hits me in the chest, door slams, house blows up. This.. I will work on lol.

NF said in an interview last year that he actually never went to a therapist, not until after his Perception album in 2017. This song came from his Mansion album in 2015. He stated that after all his “fame” and “success” in his Perception album he still didn’t feel happy. He said he was actually at his worst after the Perception album, and he actually got so low and so bad that he knew he as to get help and he finally went to get help form a Therapist. He said in the interview that the song Nate from The Search album is actually was inspired by one of his therapy sessions.

I was never beat by my parents but I was bullied constantly for like 7 years and I still have some scares from it,and even though I'm only 14 I have had to defend myself and my friends multiple times and I was even bullied by teacher so I almost did pass 6th grade because of that,so now I have to constantly fight the people who continue to try and bully me so now everyone is scared of me and I'm sick of it, but if I stop fighting people will start bullying Me again and I just wanted to know what you think I should do about this
Jimmy Fred if people are now scared of you because you’ve fought your bullies off then the bully’s won’t come back. Bully’s weed out the week they test people to find the ones that retreat and don’t stand up for themselves but once you stand up for yourself you become a lesser target because bully’s don’t repeatedly bully those who will fight back or stand up for themselves. If you have truly stood up to them and don’t have that problem anymore then stop fighting. Violence doesn’t end violence it only extends it further. Once you beat your bully don’t be mean to them you should show them kindness and compassion, typically bully’s especially younger bully’s often do it because of how they’re being treat elsewhere, show them some encouragement when you can no matter how mean they are. People need so little encouragement and kids these days are starving for a little encouragement and someone to understand them. Understand that their violence comes from their own pain which doesn’t justify it but it does mean that inside them is an inner child neglected screaming out for love and they’re starving for this. Compassion over reaction. Only use violence in self defence. Also you should be proud of yourself for sticking up for you and your friends, that’s something that takes an incredible amount of courage and you may have even saved them from suffering in ways you have. Well done.
Bullies can push us down but no matter what they do they can’t take your will power and you will always get up!!! No matter what they do can not break you!!! Let those bullies actually build stronger!

Hi my name is Joey I didn't get physically abused but I got emotionally abused when I was growing up. I have cerebral palsy so I got bullied at school and to this day I still get told I don't belong here that I should go and do harm to myself I try and try to put it away in a room. But my #1 memory is losing my mom at 15 and she was only 35 which is what age I'm turning in a few weeks. She died from colon cancer and she was my best friend I've tried therapy a couple times cause when I lost her I felt like I had no one cause my family has turned their back on me. Its hard but her heart, love and strength is what keeps me going plus I depend heavily on music. My words to you are "you're beautiful and awesome never let anyone dim the beauty of your heart" thanks for reading this if you do read this

Wonderful to see how you have grown on RUclips. Yeah and I have some rooms that I kinda gave to myself when I was younger. But I have learned from them and they are in the past, but the sad thing to see is that sometimes I am still living in the old rooms doing things that I know I should have left and some new things are not good and will cause there to be a new room of some regretful act that my future self will have to deal with. In the moment I don't know why I don't walk away. But I am always more determined to seek the truth in everything and find a way that will get me out and fix it up the right way. And throughout my life I have sort the truth. And without a doubt God is real and miracles do happen to the faithful. The times when I have stuffed up or other people have stiffed up is when they haven't been following God's instruction. But when we turn our life to him we find purpose that last beyond death and forever.

I can't say I've a perfect live or the worst... I'm 21 years old... I still with my parents even though they are the problem... The truth I've been struggling with ADHD my poor disorder dyslexia and those are just ones that have been that my past psychologist I have told me I have.... So imagine a little kid getting hit with the belt for not learning his alphabet this kid throughout his teens get his confidence dragged through the mud emotional psychological and physical abuse.... And now feeling like a complete failure my siblings and my friends are the only people that keep me going so I understand that line"is it me or the fear talking I don't know anymore"

There's a lot of people in my rental flat, teachers and students from several different schools. I don't even know most of their names but they've unanimously decided they don't like me and are trashing the house and bullying me like a pack of animals. The old version of my mother is furious, the rent inspection's tomorrow and she is showing me how not to use the vacuum cleaner :'( But as I look behind her there is a short, ugly, angry, muscly, blonde man (think budget vegeta but with no redeeming qualities) behind her abusing her and turning her into this monster. This isn't my mum anymore, this is an echo and my real mum has moved already. I leave the flat behind. It was only a rental after all, and when I find a new house I'll get a nice fresh mattress to sleep on without the yellow stains and smell.
My room: there was a huge part in my childhood where I grew up in a really abusive home and a lot of screaming... as a kid I couldn't handle it but as one of the oldest I had to push away my feelings for my younger siblings and bottling up those emotions only made it 10 times worse. I really don't know much about these rooms and how they work but I hope I did it correctly. Edit: idk if I even did it right
Same here!! But it can also build your character and know what NOT to do!!! My room was only abused mentally and emotionally but its basically the same thing in a sense, but God is helped me and my siblings to endure and www.jw.org( not a sponser) is where I found comfort in what the bible says about God's love for us and he hates to see us suffer and what he will do to fix everything wrong that is happening in the world now. Knowing what He will do brings me and my siblings comfort for what's about to come!

To be honest, I enjoyed watching you so much more than the song you reacted to. I think I'd rather read a good book than listen one being read to me. However, thanks for sharing your childhood of abuse with us & I'm so sorry you had to go through all that.
