I agree Billy, the Ken Griffey Jr '89 Upper Deck, is one of those special cards, which looks good in a tux. Mine is still ungraded, but I've considered sending it in. Probably to SGC. Maybe one day. Congrats on a solid submission though, and I like the Bo Jackson's as well.
@ACD1994 Much appreciated, Andrew! It does look awesome in a tux. I think most cards do unless they have black borders. Love the Bo as well. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love SGC myself. I was using them several years ago when my friends would tell me I was wasting money because they didn;t see why I wouldnt use PSA or BGS. I liked SGC because i loved the cases and I always felt they gave me a real idea of condition of a card because they were pretty strict and the turn around time was faster , I just loved everything about them But I've also always been a vintage guy who collects everything 70s and older ....because of that SGC I prefered to grade due to they had a rep of being better for vintage cards. Great video. Enjoyed watching!
@MatthewMcMillian I'm with you, Matt! I love SGC for pretty much all the same reasons you mentioned. They are tough on their grades, but I don't have to worry about a card that should be a 10 getting a 6! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great looking cards. Those wood grain look great in tuxes. That Griffey Power Zone is sweet. It looked familiar to me so I had to look at mine. It is the Bonds PZ I have. I do have the Griffey Ring Leaders which is also nice looking. You were close on your pre grades by the way.
@danielbernier6095 Much appreciated, Dan! So many cards look amazing in the tux! The Bonds Power Zone is sweet, too. I love those cards. I need to be close with cards this cheap. Some of them, if I'm even off by half a grade, I lose my shirt!🤣🤣
Hi Billy. How are you doing my friend. I really enjoy these types of videos. I just love seeing those SGC slabs. You were bang on with your pre-grades. It is amazing how narrow it is with grading, as the difference between a half to a full grade is so small. All those cards look awesome. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon pal.
Bill! You had a pretty good return, buddy. The power zone Griffey looks amazing in the tux…wow! Heck, I think most cards look awesome in the SGC slab. Thanks for sharing and have a great rest of your day, my friend!
@MarksDodgersCards Much appreciated, Mark! If I'm going to continue to grade some of these types of cards, I have to be very accurate because the margins are tiny!
Hey Bill! Great job guessing the grades. I find the 80s to be very hard to guess, but you’ve got the eye for it. Hard to beat some beautiful ‘87s in a tux.

Nice Power Zone Griffey, some of that era inserts from Stadium Club are tough to find in nice grades. I'd say an 8 is solid for that one. Had no idea those sold for so much now, upgraded mine from the binder to a one-touch now.
@@ryanfitzgerald2816 Thanks for watching and commenting Ryan! They are amazing cards! The pop reports are pretty low on them and there aren't very many 9s. I don't think there's been a 10 from PSA or SGC in the Griffey if I remember correctly. Even 9s are pretty tough in these.
Love those cards Billy! Very nostalgic! SGC is super tough to get 10's in. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks, Darren! Definitely tough grades, for sure. I appreciate you, my friend!

Thanks a lot, Mike. I really appreciate it!
Griffey Power Zone looks amazing in the Tux! Great PC card.

Hey Bill,
You know I love SGC reveals! You were spot on with your estimates my friend. That Griffey Power Zone looks amazing in its new tux!
I love them too! It does look sweet! Much appreciated my friend!
I am a life long griffey collector. Been thinking of selling lately. I'm in Michigan. I have over 600 different griffey cards plus memorabilia. Lmk.
@daveholmes5862 Oh wow! Griffey's my guy. Do you want to sell it all at once, or are you willing to piece it out?
Crossing my fingers for ya that you get a lot of 9’s back.
@Tim.K.1976 I'll need a whole bunch of 9s or better with a bunch of junkwax cards, especially 87 Topps.
Cool cards Billy and your eye for grading seems to be on point. Good luck with future submissions!
