Great cards! Don't know what I love more, the cards or that the wall behind you appears to be the exact same color that my baseball card showroom is painted.
I enjoyed your video, Jim. I love the Carl Hubbell and Luis Tiant cards. I call Tiant "Louie" as well. I'm saving up for a 1957 Brooks Robinson card. I agree that all vintage collectors should have a Sandy Koufax card. I also enjoy your stories about the players. I also agree about having a Mickey Mantle. I have a 65 Mantle. I love the black borders on the 1971 set, although many people don't.
Hi Jim. Some great cards there in the years I live to collect from too. ‘68, ‘71 topps. With you on Ernie Banks. I have his ‘60, ‘65, and ‘68 topps base and his ‘58 topps All Star.
Merry Christmas! I agree with your thoughts about the 71 Clemente I have two that I got as a kid in 1971. One of them I glued onto loose leaf paper, lol. He was one of my favorites. Nice collection you have.
Those are some seriously impressive copies Jim, very nice... I'm a huge fan of the 1971 and 1973 Topps sets. The photography is just amazing with the action shots and even the backdrops of the posed images. It's like a time capsule right back to that era and you almost feel like your perspective is right there on the field! I think that's why I like them so much. Great border designs as well. Loved the TTM story, that thing looks like you just got it! Thanks for showing these off!
I am slowly getting some of my 71's graded and I still have a couple of Ryan's I want to submit to SGC. I agree with you about those sets and the great photo's. Thanks for watching.
Dang, that's a nice selection of cards. I love seeing all of those awesome Nolan Ryan cards (even if, as a Mariners fan, I do not like the Angels at all -- though to be honest, I didn't really dislike the Angels back then like I do now). Even though as a kid, he mostly competed against my hometown Mariners, Nolan Ryan is still an all-time favorite player for me too..... Thanks!
Hi - Email SGC and ask if they still authenticate autographs. I don’t think they do. PSA & Becket do it. SGC will only give an autograph grade to cards sold by the card companies that come with an autograph and will only give autograph grades if the autograph is a 10. Cool you have a Kaline autograph. Nice video.
Hi Jim Awesome cards thanks for sharing. Love the 71 Gibson. One of my favorites of him. He looks so intimidating in that picture.
Great collection. W video
Great list Jim!! You have a great collection! You know I love all of those Ryan cards and autos!! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for watching, I have been a fan of Nolan's since the early to mid 70's and have seen him pitch on TV quite a bit. He was simply amazing.

Awesome cards Jim. Merry Christmas to you and your family
Hi Orlando. Thank you for watching, Merry Christmas.
Really nice collection Jim. There are some great alternative options to the Ernie Banks 54 if you're looking to go down that avenue.
Hi Sammy, I think I'll be looking for some of Ernie's late 50's cards. His cards are nice looking, and he is always smiling. Thank you for watching.
That's a great Kellogg's Nolan. That one is hard to get a hold of (I haven't acquired it yet). Thanks for sharing Jim!
Hi Russ. I picked that card up at the Chantilly show.
@ it is a great example. Sweet pick up
Thanks for taking the time to show those cards off great video ❤️

Graig’s a bad influence 😂
Hi John, LOL. Thank you for watching and commenting.
I would put Kershaw in the top 5. He is an awesome pitcher.
Kershaw top 5 lefty too now too you think?
Tony Olivas name popped up. I have a baseball autographed by him with roy 1964 under his name. Got it through my brother.
That is cool, never knew that.

Thank you for the information, I will send SGC an email and ask about the auto. Thank you for watching and the comment.
I believe SGC stopped authenticating autos a few years ago. I think PSA or BGS would be the best options today.
