Man that Henderson brought back memories. I paid $6 for that card back in the late 80s. Sadly, my home was broken into by crackheads in the early 2000s and they stole the container with all my best cards. I had a 90 Bowman Piazza rookie card. The Upper Deck Griffey rookie, Joe Montana and Jerry Rice rookies, Robin Yount rookie, some old Nolan Ryans. I had a topps Gold Derek Jeter rookie. I had literally thousands of cards from the 70s, 80s, and 90s stolen. No telling what they'd be worth today. Basically, my whole collection was gone. The morons who did it got caught when they tried to sell my collection to a pawn shop. The pawn shop wouldn't give them anything for it, so they said they threw them all in a dumpster. I never got them back. I had tons of unopened packs in their as well. After that, I gave up. 25 years of collecting down the drain. I haven't bought a card since.
@ninth-inning I'd like to start again. I don't think I'll ever get over the heartbreak of losing my collection. I watched a few other card videos today. It really kinda brought back the itch. I have so many memories of putting sets together. The first sets I put together were the 87 and 90 topps sets. I'll never forget the birthday I had where my grandmother bought me a crate of old cards. She got it from one of her friends whose husband died, it belonged to him. I got old Nolan Ryans(my all-time favorite pitcher), Robin Yount rookie, and many great cards going back as far as the early 60s that are probably worth a small fortune today. The theives also took my comic books and a Gibson Explorer and Marshall amp worth well over $10k today. I remember telling the cops that nothing could ever make me whole if I didn't get those cards back. They just didn't seem to get it. I remember going to the video store every month to pick up the monthly issue of Beckett so I'd know how much all my cards were worth so I wouldn't get ripped off in trades at school. The older guys would always try to rip you off. Cards were a huge part of my childhood. I think I'd really like to start again.
Im subbed and have been watching everything new for a month. About time youtube suggested this one.
Thanks for the sub, I appreciate it. Stick around, I have a bunch of old boxes on the way for me to open.
Some cool cards. Thanks for sharing the grading review
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Nice returns!
Thanks for watching!
Great cards. The Sandberg were fire. The Mantle with crayon will be altered/color added for sure unfortunately.
Thanks! I guess I should’ve checked that box to have it slabbed as authentic.
@@ninth-inning Next time!
Great reveal video! You definitely got robbed on that 68 mantle grade. That looks way better than a 3.
I like to think so also, but I’m not a professional grader. Thanks for watching!
I deserved a 5!
You might be able to find some cards stuck in the back of your Altima ❤
Might find even older cards in my Nova.
Great setup and reveal!
@@timdeane131 thanks, I wanted to try something different.
Very nice overall, that 83 sandberg is sweet
Yes, I’m very happy with both Sandberg cards.

Oh man that is terrible. You should try to get started again, even if it’s one card at a time. Go for the nostalgic cards.

@TheNewRevolution You can’t get your cards back, but you can get that joy that collecting brings.
Awesome cards! Great order!
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Sweet heaters bro! 🔥
Ooof~! Yeah that 69 Mick and 80 Hendo looked askew.
Yup, live and learn.
How much is a membership?
You don’t need a membership for SGC. You just pay per card to get them graded. Thanks for watching!
Gibson is a 65
Yeah I misspoke on that one. Thanks for watching.
