Rattlesnake Toys is a great place for 1/6 accessories, either custom builds or maybe replacement, anything that suits your fancy. They have some of the best prices and breakdowns, located in Arizona. I honestly don't recommend Black ops toys whatsoever because they upcharge literally everything that even ebay sellers list cheaper. Rattlesnake Toys and Toy Anxiety are the way to go! Happy collecting guys!
Dude! Thanks for sharing this type of knowledge with the community. Even though I’ve been collecting for a few years, I’ve never found one place that I can go to and be satisfied with the selection of parts. Great video once again!!
I've found a heating pad to be a great (and quieter) alternative to a hair dryer. It is also less likely to damage rooted hair when switching heads. Acne medicine to eliminate stains has been a staple in vintage doll collecting for years. You might want to test it out in a hidden area first before slathering it on larger areas. Thanks KeCo!
Great tips for sure. Hand pegs were a pain when I first started collecting but now I use the hair dyer and ill try the acne tip for sure if any of my figures get stained.
Hi Keco, great video! do you have a place to go for for 1:4 scale replacements? I recently accidentally broke my dynamic stand for my hot toys 1:4 Spidey :’) Thanks in advance!
Nice video KeCo! I just bought the Boba Fett repaint + Throne and the neck peg is impossible to remove. I tried heating up with a hairdryer, pliers, twisting, you name it. It won't budge at all. Any tips?
@@KeCoCollects Thanks for your reply! Do I just submerge the peg in a bowl of hot water? Boba has that scarf around his neck so I really don't want to get it wet
Dang this was super helpful especially the bit about removing the stains of some of my Jedi figures because my Anakin has a stain on one of his hands due to his robe 🤦🏻♂️ great content as usual 👍🏼👍🏼
Any methods to repair split-deteriorating rubber on 1/6 scale figures. I've spent a lot of money on the seamless figures of Lara Croft, I have also created 2 custom Lara Crofts and they aren't even 2 years old but I have noticed splitting at the knees, elbows, groin areas. I'm really disappointed that they deteriorate like this. Is there anything that can be done to mend the deteriorating areas? I'm not willing to purchase new body sculpts if this is the quality I'm paying for. Any help would be greatly apprecciated.
Seamless figures will always have issues unfortunately. I don't use them myself, but I know 303 protectant wipes work on faux leather. Unfortunately I don't know much about rubber. Certainly not to repair, but some type of oil perhaps could keep it from getting worse? Once again, I'm not sure. Good luck!
Great tips and tricks of the collecting game. I’ve been using this tricks for years I recommend a double viewing of this video also hit that like button and have some patients.
I have a broken Medicom Stormtrooper. Broken at the ankle, right at the joint. I looked at every one of your suggested sites (thx!) but nothing turned up. Thoughts?
I recommend just getting a pin vice, drilling a small hole for a screw, screw in a screw into the piece stuck in the arm of leg and pull on the screw with pliers. much safer that way.
So I messed up some superglue on my punisher war machine's minigun, I checked everywhere no parts for sale, how do I remove superglue from the plastic without damaging the paint?
I think super glue may be the one enemy that can't be defeated sadly. I would suggest mineral spirits, but that would strip the paint. If you can't find a replacement, you may want to strip the whole mini gun and then repaint it - good luck!
thank you very much I did not know that we could repair a hot toys figurine, I will try to find an arm for Alita ! but do you know how to repair a 1/6 figure clothing zipper ? Thank
hey keco any advice on how to remove stains on a diecast figures? recently got rescue from endgame, its gold face plate had a tiny black spot on it . Appreciate it
That's a tricky one -- zippers of that Size are incredibly difficult. Just go SLOW and use a lot of force - if that makes sense. The smallest of fabric is most likely stuck :(
Hey man I really love the channel and you’ve convinced me to buy my first hot toy but I’ve looked for a place to get them and it seems everywhere I look people are leaving bad reviews. I’m in Australia and if you know any good stores please let me know
What about the shoulder? Like shoulder joint broke it’s the 2009 Jake sully avatar I’ve had it since 2017 and just little bit ago I found the right arm is broken
I'm in desperate need of a replacement Blitzway Venkman Body after the arm snapped off and a replacement PERS system for the DX01 Joker. I've tried EVERYWHERE. Any help??
You may have better luck just finding a new headsculpt than fixing the old one. Lots of good prices out there. As for the Venkman body, a standard 1/6 body should do the trick and you can get at places like toy anxiety and One Sixth Kit
@@TheStuartReeves hmmmm. I'm not sure. With the ghostbusters, the have "gloves" not hands, so you may be able to get away with just pushing them in instead of a full lock in place. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful
I have an Ironman mark 50 where the whole arm just randomly fell off and it’s not even at the connected piece. Idk if I can glue it together or not but this is disappointing as heck.
Hate to hear that. All the arms are on ball joints so should pop back in, unless it fell off at a different part. In that case, you may need glue. Good luck!

The adapter? Or the peg - you can get new pegs. If it's the adaptor, you may want to look into something called blue tack. Not a perfect solution, but you'll have a head again
My Hot Toys AvP Celtic (2.0) Predator just fell from his shelf and his hip ball joint snapped! I'm heartbroken and I've checked all these locations and can't find the joints that I need... I'm so upset! ;_; Does anyone have any clues to help me find this piece?
Just got my first hot toys figure. Captain America 2012 version from endgame. Changed the head. And the joint broke. So now the head just sits there lose
this video has been informative but unfortunately, I'm in a sticky situation, I have a KX enforcer droid with a finger that completely broke off and I don't think the hands are removable. Without the plastic that holds the finger together, it's pretty much just that. If anyone has a solution for me, plz let me know lol.
You may want to look at a replacement arm or hand entirely sadly - they have a joint so they would be removable somehow. Otherwise it may be a super glue situation for it to look better but not functional. That's a tough one :(
@@KeCoCollects yea super glue is definitely my last resort if all else fails, for now I’m going to try and contact sideshow, not sure how exactly they’re going to give me a replacement since the hands don’t come off…..
