I teach a PT LPN program at a local technical college. I am going to use this video as part of my "Professionalism in Nursing" plan with them! We need to start "teaching" professionalism early in nursing school! I love it - thank you for putting this out there.
Lisa, question for you my friend is an lvn, but she is constantly drinking. And im getting concern for her because she does tend to driver while intoxicated and the following date she present to work. How can i report this. I don't want nothing bad to happen to her and i been trying to help her but now we are not in talking terms but she is still drinking getting behind the wheel. I dont understand how her job doesn't notice
The medical company that I work for is VERY strict about social media activity. We're not allowed to talk to the press either, we can only refer them to HR.
Very helpful video! Putting together a presentation for our nursing students on social media awareness, 1st amendment rights, and professionalism online. Great examples!
Use common sense for goodness sake!! I can't believe it when I see clinical staff surfing Facebook at work, but they get away with it!! Seriously??? I once had a patient who told me to say "hello" to my husband. I told the patient "My facility doesn't allow me to do that".
@@Katherine_Ann I meant at work when they really show going to work, what they do in the hospital. Everything the do in the hospital, in details but without patients just them doing their duties and responsibilities.
People doing too much to be noticed these days.

Wow, thanks so much Lisa! I appreciate your kind words and am humbled you would want to use this in your program.

I see a lot of "a day in a life" videos, do these count?
Depending on what they show, there definitely could be a risk for negative repercussions!
