I love these joycons. I researched the HELL out of various third party joycons before settling on these I love the rgb function that’s my favorite part cause I’ve always wanted something like that but rgb stuff is usually for pcs and I don’t have a pc. I had some trouble with them for a while but after updating the firmware on my laptop it fixed them problem and they’re still a fantastic third party joycon pair.
Nowadays there are so many different ones that are similar to these and even a bunch made by binbok themselves so it's very easy to get confused and or buy the wrong one.
Good review! I've been thinking on buying those too, I'm just worried that the quality may vary from one product to another.. they seem pretty inconsistent. But they do look really nice and I think they feel better in the hand than normal joy cons too. Also, you deserve more followers!
Thank you so much! And I totally understand that! It’s the risky part of buying from these random weird brands. Thankfully this one seems to be fairly consistent, but you definitely have to buy at your own risk!
No dead zones that I’ve noticed! For build quality, it’s definitely a cheaper plastic than standard joycons. But the HD rumble feels just as good to me, and the motion controls are solid!
@@BaxTechYT yeah I ended up ordering the og pair a lot of people were saying with the slims their hands tend to cramp up after a sesh so I thought it was safer to go with the bigger pair since I have larger hands
great review on those joycons. I've been meaning to get a pair of these real soon, which brings me to a question for you: have you tried using it on PC(through joyshockmapper app or an emulator) before? If you did, have you ever experienced disconnection or input delay issues?
Hmm🤔 I haven’t tried using these on pc. They might work with a Bluetooth connection, which then I would bet there’s a pretty significant input delay. Sadly, wired would be a challenge since you would need a USB C cable ran to each Joycon
Have had them for about 2 months now. My first set had same issue with right remote z button being extra clicky compares to the left so returned them. 2nd pair came In first 2 weeks right remote was definitely quiter than the first set, but after being used the clicking noise did get louder to how it was on the first pair.... I wonder if something internally gets worn out amd causes it to make the noise. Other than that definitely best remote available for the switch.
Got mite fore a year now.. My only prob is that the lock mechanism is kind of a soft plastic.. and due to wear and tear a sort of groove have developed.. now it would slide of from time to time.. or just randomly disconnects.
@@BaxTechYT i went stone age on mine, stuck 3 pieces of paper in the railings to tighten it up a bit so it wont slide off.. and never took it off again.. But aside from that.. its solid and haven't experienced drifft yet..
Just got these 5 mins ago and they feel great to use but the shoulder buttons are horrendously loud. If they were the same volume as the original joycons or less then they would be absolutely perfect. Going to sell them on or return them as I don’t think I can tolerate that much clicking.
@@BaxTechYT They are too stiff. Nexigo joy cons d-pad is better, 75% close to the nintendo pro controller, and they are similar to the standard binbok in size but they do not have the slim version and their buttons are not as clicky as binboks. I wish binbok can just copy nexigo's d-pad and that would be the dream combo.
I still wondering on these, I own the Split Pad ones which i love but wishing i had controller for TV mode but don't want to spend so much ona controller, wish i knew if these good or should try cheaper ones for that.
These have been very solid for me so far! Plus they’re pretty dang cheap. And the even come with the lil rail so you can use them as a standalone controller!
Hello, I am considering buying these binbok slim joy cons since I am having trouble with L trigger with my original one. Does the these binbok joy cons doesn't turn off if you turn off (not sleep) your nintendo switch. Sorry for too many questions. I just want to make sure with what I am buying. 😅
Thanks for commenting! I have not tried these with FPS games, theres not any on switch that appeal to me. But they can wake and turn off your switch! Same functionality as the standard joycon, just a lot cheaper!
I got them yesterday, the joysticks are already ruined somehow. They crack and stops whenever I use them. Idk what to do, do you have any tips? I spent $80 for them for all the shipping and stuff pls help
Ok, but is there not a way to fix them? Like switch out the joysticks or oil them or anything. It took like 3 weeks to get them so I really want to keep them yk
@@lego-bricksinmotion9638 hmm I really don’t know. Amazon has aftermarket joysticks, but finding the right ones to fit the binboks might be a challenge

I love this controller except for when I watch crunchyroll. my switch when docked is the only device in my room that allows me to watch CR on my TV (Samsung). Can’t watch a full episode without the controllers falling asleep. If anyone knows how to stop them from shutting off please let me know.
@@BaxTechYTupdate. The clickiness in the right trigger broke and became super sensitive. The second you make contact it will shoot. I don’t understand why Nintendo won’t make these for real
Right?! Nintendo just hates giving the fans what they want🤣
Probably would cost WAY more, seeing the regular joycons cost 80$

Can you do binbok white slim vs the chunkier one
I'm thinking of getting these for my Nintendo Switch as my joy-cons getting loose and won't stay connected time after time
They're good! They can get a little loose if you take them on and off a lot. But way cheaper than real joycons!
@@BaxTechYT is the quality very good on the binbok?
@@MrMartellSincere the only complaint i have is the dpad, it’s too mushy for me.

I honestly didn’t know about them, but they’re on my radar now! Thanks for the suggestion!!
