Thinking of buying those myself. How did the test of time go so far? Any noticeable changes since you've bought them?
Also i've heard that BinBok's tend to have deadzones in joysticks. Have you noticed anything like that?
They seem to have increased in price quite a bit, since along with shipping they would cost 63$ for me (possibly even more since i live in middle Europe), but i'm still absolutely willing to buy them if they still work fine for you after almost a year of using.

Got these in yesterday, Doyoky brand version. Really like them. Also got the gamecube version. And both are nice gamepads/joycon for me. I don't have big hands and with the slim version the switch feels very good in handheld mode. With the gamecube version it is getting to wide for my comfort, but still manageble. Yeah I think, so far, I'm happy with my purchase. If only Nintendo made this kind of original joycons (slim), that would be great. The transparent version with the led in 4 color looks really nice.

I talk about the vibration in the video, it's nowhere near that of the official Joy-Cons "HD rumble" and it's noisy too but I'd rather have any rumble than no rumble.
Plastic doesn't feel cheap to me, it's not matte/textured like real Joy-Cons, it's more smooth so it is different but I've felt worse!
Face buttons are consistent in actuation, slightly rattly but the plastic they're made out of is fine. Far less mushy than the Hori Split Pad (we've got a comparison soon).
Sticks have a large dead zone? Not for me, I compared mine against the official Pro Controller and I'd say you need to push it just a little further for the sticks to engage but even the pro controller has a dead zone, if that's what you're referring to.
You've got to remember these are basically 50% less and from a random Chinese company. For that they're excellent but can't compare to official quality.

Yeah, the D-pad of the Pro Controller is horrible, I can't imagine how this could be worse. I mostly play 2d platformers and I hate the pro controller because of that. And yes, I have tried multiple pro controllers and every one of the them is the same. What exactly is wrong about this controller's D-pad? That's like my only concern right now.

I have 2 pairs of Joycons, but I'm looking at an alternative. I have a big palm, but short fingers. The original joycons are too small and uncomfortable for me. I was looking at the Hori joycons, but the lack of rumble kills it for me. These seem like a good alternative. I hope the batteries are decent. I'm planing to use them in portable mode, mostly, so I don't know if I should get the wireless version, or go for the wired only, that costs half.

Ah I'd maybe wait as BinBok are revising these controllers, we'll get some samples when they're done. For now check out our videos of the Mobapad :)

Damn, I thought I did a deadzone test for these but clearly didn't! There is slight deadzone, enough to notice if you're conscious/aware of deadzone but fine for the casual players
