Adding ethanol to petrol is a disaster move to vehicle buyers and central govt., less mileage means to buy more fuel so more crude oil should be imported.
There are several advantages of adding ethanol to petrol. Reduction in emissions is one of the key advantages of using ethanol. Besides, it is considerably cheaper than fossil fuels. Since it is produced from biomass, there are no supply concerns. Because of these reasons, it is widely used in the US and Brazil as fuel. In India, experiments in blending ethanol and petrol started in 2001 itself.
What about prices? Will it become cheaper for Normal Citizen?

Now i understood tht y my bike nowadays giving less milage i thought to sell my bike thinking it became old...
1month ago tell this to my mechanical friend, my driver but they dont agree. Only i am failed to calculate the percentage. Even content creator didnot said it will decrease the torque (pickup), damage the engine slowly but quickly than 100% petrol. Because our engine is made for petrol not for ethanol mixed.

Mileage is 81-82kmpl now its 77-78kmpl 5%decreased. Even i realized the torque is decreased. I have new bike purchased in feb 2022.

One point missed ethanol production has been fruitful for sugarcane farmers....thus ultimately fulfiling the target of Doubling rhe farmers income

After Ethanol production waste like water etc. will go to rivers and increase water pollution.
And for ethanol sugar cane farming will increase, which will affect to the germination and fertilization power of land in some years.

We actually have a surplus sugar-cane production anyways, so govt wants to curb cheap sugar export (thanks to Brazil) and increase farmer income by giving him option to sell to ethnol manufacturing plants. But yes water wastage will increase.

Ethanol is violate so they add more than 10% to make sure it settles down to 10% after evaporation in the long run. If E20 is enforced, petrol directly from pump will have about 30% ethanol

If you consider the barrel price to be 100 usd it means that you get crude oil per litre at 50 and ethanol at 61. Which doesnt help honestly. Plus increasing ethanol production will reduce sugar production which is again a problem.

Brazil is the first country where through ethanol blending they able to save 90% petroleum import. In Brazil none cry about car average, why?

Actually as per studies the brake thermal efficiency must increase with addition of ethanol.
if mileage is less then we will need more fuel .

Due to that if the milage reduces by 10% on all vehicles then we use more fuel and more fuel import then there is no use of adding ethanol right!

@@happy91997 Yes unfortunately the government actively uses this as a defence for the high prices.... But earning revinue from Fuel sale is not unique to India... And not is ethonal blend... Infact I find ethonal blending a step against environment... As it utilizes more and more agricultural land for something that is not ment for food... But as a fan of this channel i don't expect this from them... Again my personal view..
E10,E20,E45,E85 works best with specific engines, if put in normal petrol engine then efficiency will be decreased.
One more thing you missed.. That is it help sugarcane farmer income increased..and sugar company income increased with by product ethanol..
Just a little correction :-
With ethanol blending, the vehicle manufacturer would also change the dynamics of engine so that mileage would be kept in good shape.
There is a limit on how much u can do with that
While E10 can be mitigate with better transmission efficiency
E20 will come with drop in milage

It does seems 2 wheeler have come to it's almost to limit of how much it can be efficient on cost effective
Mainly in 90cc to 150cc
Right now all manufacturing are focusing on 160cc + engine
Ethanol is a non volatile solute which decreases the burn rate of flammable substance....thus Your vehicle will have to do relatively much work to perform hence consumption of petrol will increase....so the government has double benifit....from selling low quality petrol and also in sales....And you will have exponential loss 🤣🤣
