When Jordan was starting to take off all I can remember was hearing and seeing Jordan all over the news. So I figured what the heck I'll watch a Bull's game and see what the hype was about. That first game I watched he got sixty plus points. Needless to say, I became a huge fan of his and basketball also.

Thank you for your comment. Yes we agree, Jordan was amazing to watch. From his rookie season averaging 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists to his time with the Wizards when he was a score away from earning an All-Star Game MVP award.

i love mj. For me he was the best and I don't compare him to anyone, great coaches but also players have talked about him, everyone has admitted him. No one is like him and no one will ever reach him. He had it in him, whatever he did was perfect, I wish I was back . in the 80-90 let's see him again. God disguised himself as mj

There is no reason to pick Michael Jordan as the number 1 NBA player of all time. I know some people will not get that because they love Michael Jordan, they're influenced by the media about him, they are uneducated about the NBA, and they may not be that smart then, but there is factually no reason to pick Michael Jordan as the number 1 NBA player of all time, and not only that, but if you pick him, you're going to give reasons where you are going to have a lot of contradcitions. Now I know some of you will not get any of this. If anyone wants to debate me, let me know, and I don't mean debate me in a comment section then. I am not interested in any online typing wars then.

Correct. Not really an Iimportant question, who the number one is in anything. It's just something we humans like to jaw about.

it depends on the time when everyone grew up, we grew up with mj, so for us he was the first and that doesn't change. You can't cancel him, he was a great player and no one can dispute that.

@@omertaword583 I wasn't canceling him. I am not elevating him as much as you Michael Jordan fans. You Michael Jordan fans are the only sports fans in the world who think that if someone disagrees with you about your guy it means there against him, canceling him, hating on him, and there are more examples but you get the point.

The league should retire the number 23 #jordan

Thank you for commenting. We have an interesting question for you. Do you feel the league should retire the number 23 because of Jordan alone or because of both Jordan and LeBron?
