This Channel and some retro car fellas on another Channel are the best two car channels with the lowest subs it's insane you should both have a million subs
The first engine start is so special. Took me right back to 1996, I can remember it like it was yesterday. 0.0 miles on it.

What you didn't mention is that the old school hard wired park switch setup not only parks the wipers but also shunts the motor windings to give an electromagnetic braking effect to positively park & retain the motor in position...all achieved with some basic terminals & no £5k PDM...I'm not saying that PDMs don't have their advantages but they aren't magic & do have disadvantages. Ironically brushed motors are particularly challenging to switch with silicon....lots of back emf & massive inrush is exactly what relays excel at for very low cost.

I would love to see it being put together as a die hard rally and Audi fan. But you only seem to talk about what you’ve done instead?
I think it's because someone else films and edits the videos. So when he's done with a job the video guy comes over to film what he has done.
Maybe that could be done on the next build 😊
@@SgtRock4445 someone else films and edits Matt Armstrong videos but they don’t seem to have a problem.
@@Metal05 because Matt's camera man is part of his crew and films during the fixing and repair of the vehicles.
Going by the end credits Axel has his own video production company.
Dave, hi, please tell me where I can get a black intake manifold like you have on an Audi S1E2 Pikes Peak on 07k, I've looked all over the internet and can't find it. please help me with advice on where to get it, maybe there are drawings or a ready-made version for a Bosch 82.5mm throttle body
