The coolest project build on RUclips at the moment. I love how you explain the how’s and why’s rather than just video yourself doing shit. I myself am recommissioning and old Swift GTI RallyCar to Classic regs and your videos definitely help get me motivated to get back in the Garage.
would be interesting to ask Walter Röhrl: he is the only race -rallye driver, who took this monster out for a ride in Bavaria. So he really could give a comparison
Yet again, a huge pleasure to be filming & editing another instalment. It’s crazy to see how much progression this car has made in such a short space of time, in the grand scheme of things! What a build! 👏

Rewriting motorsport history - sort of- emotional stuff!
It was a long wait but what a layout for all the components!! 💪 I was thinking about mister Walter Rohl, nice to know that he knows about the project, it would be epic if he could drive an sign it is that is possible. Looking forward to see the front and back installed with the beautiful four lights in the grill. I am amazed how view people are following this project because there are so many group B fans out there. You should be so proud of this project ❤

What a great build 👍 Have seen the RS002 at Goodwood - what a shame they didn't build and race the "real" car. RS001 looks so much better 😁
Not long got in from work, covered in shite after doing mot repairs on the worlds worst builders Transit van all day. Now sat here watching this with a beer and it has put a proper grin on my face...love the nod to nerdery with the fabric and logo on the seat btw!!!

is a performance drive with walter planed?
For sure it's not only my idea, but I'd fancy to see a Walter Röhrl and/or Stig Blomqvist signature somewhere in the vehicle and have afootage of a ride somewhere to show them the vehicle they might never used - maybe in the preseason testing when the pictures were taken.
Dave, hi, please tell me where I can get a black intake manifold like you have on an Audi S1E2 Pikes Peak on 07k, I've looked all over the internet and can't find it. please help me with advice on where to get it, maybe there are drawings or a ready-made version for a Bosch 82.5mm throttle body

Clarkson said once when testing a powerful audi .problem is performance audi's always been nose heavy .i presume engine in front of front axle .this one wont have that problem.this is mid engine racing car

This is amazing! Is the engine in the back for weight distribution? Does the gearbox work in reverse, so to speak? Thank you.
Video 2 covers the layout of the drive line if that helps
what did you not keep the original box with the button on the gearlever to operate the manual clutch ? Keep it original
@@BondWarrior the use of the clutch is not needed on this type of gearbox and electronics we can also do a closed loop gear cut to allow full throttle gear changes.
The Font ffrom these Numberplates isnt correct ;-(
The Font must be DIN 1451 - The FE Font (thats on these Numberplates) wasnt used before 1994.
