Dude... Nice ride man. I was watching your line compared to the Audi, and while fast, he has a street racers mentality of "keep to the inside" on literally every corner and had no concept of the "out-in-out" line you seemed to nail like you roll there 8-10 hours daily.

Lustig und vielsagend ist wenn Fahrzeuge auf der Geraden locker davonziehen aber bei der nächsten Kurve im Weg stehen.

From what I see the TTRS is driving fine. Ever been in front for so long you get bored or even let the guy behind pass to see what they got? That is what happened.

I mean... if comparing yourself to people that don't know the track floats your boat then so be it.
I'm only proud when I test myself against others at or above the same level.

Audi driver frankly breaks in 4 first fast curves. I got it. I'll be bored and frustrated. Didn't go further in the footage. It's called Touristic open track days. They nailed it.

What’s more fun: driving a fast car and sucking at it, or driving a slow car faster than a fast car. That dirty look at 5:34 tho, that’s my reaction to 98% of the other drivers around me

Nice to push it to its limits quite well. But of course it's a little easier to chase than to be chased.

The Audi only kept in front because of power in straight line though he reached driver’s limit everywhere else and because you put safety first unlike him. 👍

The Audi is being driven sub-optimally, yes. However, I think the point of this video was more to show that the Yaris can easily punch above its weight class if the driver is well acquainted with it, or perhaps it's just to poke fun at people who plaster their vehicles with "[BRAND NAME HERE] Performance" stickers and then can't drive well enough to outpace a Toyota.

I don't think that the RS driver is no push over, it just that the GR Yaris is so light its cornering speed is superb.

  • @davidfoster1762

I’m convinced the Yaris driver deliberately let the TT driver past wanting the fun of the chase. Which we all got !

Great lines, much faster into a corner than the TT and with a little more grunt or track space you'd have had him. All whilst looking as calm as if you were going to the shops. Respect , Sir.
