the sound from the mount it picks up is a constant drone in the background.
I have the same drone with my yeti. I have to use a compressor and software to clean up all the background noise.

You could use the base of those swivel lights it’s the exact same geometry or if you have the internals from a security camera you can use those components for your arms since it gives you more angle freedom
Honestly my $15 FIFINE mic from 2016 sounded better than a $50 HyperX mic

5 inch isnt small. Its huge.
I saw a reddit post saying if you tilt the mic either 45 or 90 dagrees, it will get rid of the vibrations from typing. Can anyone confirm?
dont get it unless you are fine with having lots of rumble and cutting out if you talk directly into the capsule

Solocast or Fifine K678? Gonna be using it 2 feet away on the desk. Mainly for discord, and which has the better mute button. Will discord pick up the rumble since there isnt a shock mount?

I recently just bought one and it barely picks up like sound only when I like speak loud. I've noticed it has like a noise suppression to it and want to turn it off and make the quality sound better but I don't know how these stuff work. Idk how to fix it.

Use RTX voice if you don’t have a mount or arm
if you sit the mic stand on some foam or will that help with the vibrations?
I use Nvidia broadcast and it takes all the background noise out.
Are you using it with the solocast? Is it removing the noise.

Any cheap and easy suggestions for absorbing the desk noise? From other reviews it seems like something like a towel or sponge won't cut it (and I suppose neither will blue-tac?).
I just want to complement the Sennheiser I plan to buy with a mic that won't be worse than just using a simple gaming headset. For this mic it seems to be working well enough even when far away and quality is way beyond my needs, but that desk noise is horrid.
Tilting the mic reduces the vibration.
