Fun Fact: The Florida version of splash mountain was Thurl Ravenscroft's final disney role before tragically passing in 2005 Not sure if Thurl is heard on Disneyland but i do know he is heard on Magic Kingdom's version

I just went to Disney World and went on Splash Mountain, and the possums hanging on upside down on the tree (Pansy, Poppy, and Petunia) are gone along with their branch they are hanging on. Possibly forever, possibly to fix them, possibly taking out the animatronics, and fixing them up and reprogramming them for… that. But most likely just fixing them up. I’ve always been fascinated with the original version of the ride before some of the animatronic were taken out and story changes were made. Sadly, I’ve only found one picture of this version and some concept art pointing towards where some of the other animatronics may have been.

Yeah, the only picture of the original version was with the waiter pig in the Laughin Place. The portrait also revealed that another bird with a guitar, dogs balancing on beehives, a goat, and turtles were supposed to be in the Disneyland version, but I guess those were the scrapped animatronics.
