This is karma for not including Facilier. “pRoBLeMaTiC” or not, having something with him before the drop would have went so HARD! Literally if they included Facilier, I would have forgiven the ride cause it would have meant Haunted Mansion aesthetics could have bled into Splash Mountain 💀

I mean its great cus it means i can now skip riding this so i have time to go on other rides. fr though i cant believe they replaced the classic splash mountain with this trash even when its working its not fun and has lost alot of the magic that was in the original splash.

Here's the problem with these electrically animated figures: linear electrical actuators are high-speed electric motors that push and pull on threaded rods by spinning at a high rate of speed (think about a drill or an electric screwdriver). Anyone else think that a little motor might be prone to failure after reversing direction thousands of times a day while spinning at very high speeds? The "old school" hydraulic and pneumatic actuators fill or drain pistons with oil or air to push and pull on rods and move the figure. The force exerted is directly proportionate to the mass of the air or fluid entering the cylinder. Can you see how that's more reliable than spinning a tiny electric motor?

Interesting how the turtles in the laughin' place move their other limbs. These days, they just move their mouths and blink. The animatronics also noticeably have more movement compared to today.

what really bothers me is that the movie Princess and the frog was the last 2D movie from Disney before everything became 3D so to see any of the screen time of characters being 3D on the screen ruins the magic of a classic 2D film. Makes it looks cheap and emotionless :/

I am very glad that I was privileged to get to ride Splash Mountain twice. I did it back in 2014 and 2016. Being 10 the first time and 12 the second, it was an excellent childhood experience!! I will not waste my time on this new woke ride.

Honestly with the budget Disney has, you’d expect the limited movement animatronics to _at least_ sync up with the music 😭

I am not going to forgive them for destroying a 30 year classic and turning it into a lame ride. They could’ve made the Tiana story interesting. I was disappointed because no antagonist, lesson, or conflict. Not only are there only a fraction of animatronics, it is just a restaurant advertisement.😖

My question is what are they gonna do with them?

All I gotta say is we could of gotten a little better for this ride and it’s full concept should of been up even though I’ll miss splash mountain the new ride could of gone better if Disney put more soul into the ride
