Yes!! Having the movement pointed out and isolated helps a lot.

This is excellent! It’s been about 30 years since I hit the dance floor, so this has given me a boost of confidence for an upcoming party.

I would like to learn about the movement of the arms, especially in Rhumba and Cha Cha Cha. I see you have a link about arms and dance, and I will look at that next. Thank you for explaining a method to look more coordinated and thinking about dance movement as a series of layers. Of course it's also important to go with the rhythm of the music following the tempo.

Absolutely, rhythm is crucial as well. It's been a while since I did Rhumba and Cha Cha 🙂 I learned these styles as a kid

Thank you. Finally, a teacher teaches in pieces. I was never successful in learning dance, as the teacher was moving so many parts at once. I find a lot of value in your methods. Allows you to conquer steps without all the frustration. I wish music teachers would use this method in learning piano. So much talent is left off the table because teachers are more concerned about how good they look instead of allowing the student to aspire to higher levels. God bless. We need more people like you. Love your videos. You are making a difference in people's quality of life on many levels.

lol I'm so totally uncoordinated; my arms feel like they've just been transplanted from someone else! With practice, I'm hoping the body will eventually move as one. Great breakdown of the moves, so thank you, Monika. It's fab seeing the before and after videos you share, as it gives me hope!
