But trust me, we have been in a classical recession for many many months. Just because there are jobs available doesn’t eliminate the recession…. It’s probably too late now but you need to wear a respirator when you’re spray painting and or sanding. Even when you use your grinder on metal. A lot of cancer causing material gets thrown into the air:
“While spraying any paint or primer, it is essential to protect your lungs and eyes. Almost all paints contain hazardous chemicals that can cause cancer and other health problems. If you don't shield your body from vapors that stay in the air when spraying, it can cause cancer and significant health problems.”

Talking of prepping, reminded me I need to test and service the generator, and stock up on oil. Generally, use natural gas for house, electric for shops. Have plenty of wood for the stove only used in emergency. Installed oil heat for out buildings, but only use it when real cold.

From a man who painted cars for years take my advice. Wear face masks when painting in an enclosed area or one day you be spitting up pieces of lung as you die are very painful death.

Lol. He is not a lib to wear a face mask. Masks are for kids. Strong men don't fear lung cancer.

I’ve done more drywall than I ever wanted.
I purchased a powered drywall sander that has a a decent reach. It has capability to hook up to a shop vac and almost eliminates the dust.

Did you push the last of the paint through the hose with water? You can get little more painted that way. Maybe you could have finished?

Your right nature undoing something that took you a long time and effort to accomplish is a bummer. Cheer yourself up by focusing on the positive aspects. The fence line is cleared, wire for the most part should be extended the length. And you made friends doing it. PS. I hat drywall too

Me and the wife were just talking about a skim coat a flat wall I did years ago and five different tapers use five different remixes of topping compound and they flashed differently so when Ford dealer paint high gloss with a glass wall to the West it showed every bit of it

Prepper for a long time…been watching this world come to a volatile season for many years. Few wanted to hear it and my children rejected it, one went no contact when I sent emergency Auguson farms food for their closet to assist in any coming emergency. Made what decisions on how I lived trying to be a storehouse and refuge for my kids and grandkids.. banks are failing, no money to speak of in there now either…I know you have made amazing self-sustaining provisions for your ones!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️Wish I could have done better at 75 to be a help for mine ….no regrets, we can weather what is coming and maybe be a help to others also!!! God bless!!🙏❤️

I did that for my sister and her family, when I told her it was a $1,000. Of freeze dried food, her mouth dropped, I told her to guard this with her life, that one day she would need it for a while! I bought myself a 72hour pack, family first, I don’t even live near her, she’s my sister!

Excellent masking work. To anyone painting a ceiling or high walls. They make a nice extension for those graco sprayers that's about 5' and you can attach more than one. They only cost $30~. I won't do even a 9' ceiling without one.

The problem Heath is we never know when things will turn bad but we can get prepared as if it will be tomorrow as of right now it only takes a few minutes to change our world and sometimes a lifetime to put it back on track as with anything it's the things we can do now that can make a difference and nobody likes to ask for help but it's nice to know that if you need it there are those who will reach out to help there fellow man even when they themselves need it too. The shop is really looking good but once everything is back inside it will change of course especially with the kids and the projects to come glad the roads are drying out now so you can finish the road up to the water shed tanks and the cabin be careful and stay safe my friends God love ❤ya both

I’m in your camp Heath when it comes to Sheetrock hanging and finishing. I’d rather hang it than tape and texture it, but all of it is not my cup of tea, as it were. I call Heriberto, and he brings in one crew to hang rock and another crew does the taping and texturing. It’s worth every penny to bring him in.

Doing your undercoat at 25 minutes -- without facemask?????? You will be breathing in way too much paint, literally painting your lungs. That is STUPID. Get a good mask PRONTO! And use it when doing all spray painting. At the end you said "I am done!". Yes, your face is very done. Painted. What are your lungs and eyeballs like???? That was absolutely crazy painting without mask and goggles.

I am in good company in wishing you would pay the attention to your safety as well as you do the attention to detail you pay your projects. You seriously could be shortening your life span, if not for yourself, take precautions for Cedar and the kids, they need you around as long as possible. The project as usual is awesome.

Looks great. Being prepped is a great Idea for any time and all the time. The USA has weathered crisis before and recovered from it. Because of the late date, the return of Israel to the land in 1947 and the current administrations in the USA and other nations, we may be on the verge of the 70th week of Daniel 9:24-27. If you don't know what that means, I would encourage you to find out. The internet is a great source! Ron PTL USA
