  • The Denver Nuggets snagged a 114-103 Game 1 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Nikola Jokić finished with 32 points, while LeBron James had 27 and Anthony Davis also added 32 of his own. The Lakers have not defeated the reigning champs since December 2022 and have a chance to break the streak in Game 2. However, Colin Cowherd is not convinced. Watch as he breaks down how Denver exposes the purple and gold's flaws. The 2024 NFL Draft is just three days away and the Chicago Bears are on the clock. They are expected to draft USC QB Caleb Williams. However, one anonymous QB coach is concerned with Williams landing in Chicago citing the coaching staff and a new offensive coordinator. Colin agrees but also dives into why Williams will overcome the Bears issues.

Here is the actual review of the LAkers and Nuggets: Denver dominated the whole game. Lebron started the game badly due to Gordon's defense. The game only got interesting when randomly Gordon got 2 early fouls and then the Lakers took the lead. Denver constantly kept the game close and the took the lead and never worried.

    • @buffalobilly6046

facts! Gordon only scored 12 and a p/m of +20! And for the record. Gordon ended the game with 2 fouls. So that's the last time Malone will take him out so early. Better to keep him in with 2 fouls and lock down on D and let the nuggets build a nice lead.

Good report. Hey have you ever considered this, there is a connection between the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and the coach of San Francisco and the coach of the LA Rams what if there was a trade made with cousins went to the Niners Brock Purdy went to LA Who would if Kirk cousins just went to Niners and Brock Purdy went to the Falcons. Mixes of draft picks somewhere the 49ers need to win now cousins could go to another Super Bowl with the Niners or with Los Angeles cousins now Rams are now the 49ers are definitely now. If the 49ers don’t go to the Super Bowl and win it, the coach is done. The reputation is over, gotta admit if they don’t win it you’re in to win. Just saying something gotta go on with cousins the trade wasn’t made with the Vikings that the trade can be made with the Falcons. Somethings up with them. Kirk cousins ain’t staying in Atlanta. he’s going to either LA or San Francisco. You know more than I but somethings up with Kirk cousins.😊

Lakers’ superstars arent gonna outplay Denver’s, so the bench and others have to outplay their Denver counter part for the Lakers to just be on even playing field. That’s why Lakers are very unlikely to win this series because their others’ aren’t that good especially with the injuries.

Lamar ain’t never had a #1 or #2 receiver…he wins 75% of his games and have 2 MVPS…don’t tell me about Josh Allen when 2 years in a Row everyone in the media including Colin said the Bills had the roster in the league !

Have LeBron sit the first half and play the second . He is good for a half and games are won in the second half and forth quarter . First half means nothing in today's NBA .
It's the old definition of insanity doing the same thing and expecting different results . You got to take more risks .

LeBron scored 2pts in the 4th quarter and 7 TOs in the game.
He was trash, stop that. Dlo, Reaves, and the rest were the reason the Lakers were ahead at all. LeBron no showing in the 4th is why they lost.
    Enough with the nonsense

Colin tends to look at only one side of the equation. 27/6/8 on 10-16 shooting sounds decent if that’s the main story, but 7 TO can sink you. Worse, Denver only turned it over 4 times, meaning the Lakers did nothing to break their rhythm.
