- The Minnesota Timberwolves blew out the Denver Nuggets 115-70 to force a Game 7. Anthony Edwards led the way with 27 points, four rebounds and four assists. Colin Cowherd reacts to the Wolves' performance, then explains how today's Western Conference parallels the SEC for the past 20 years. Colin also continues to evaluate various NFL schedules, including the Detroit Lions shortly after Jared Goff signed his extension. The Lions play 15 of their first 15 games indoors, which historically has benefited Goff (and players in general). Colin explains how advantageous this is for Detroit.

The East best teams outside of Boston all had significant injuries come playoff time. No Giannis, no Butler, Donovan Mitchell got hurt half way through the series, Embiid wasn't healthy even though he put up decent numbers, half of the Knicks are hurt. Yes, the West is still overall way better, but we didn't get the best of the East this year and the Celtics have benefitted. They're missing Porzingis right now, so they have their own issues.

Don't talk about getting Ant a new running mate. It'll ruin their cap situation and depth, which is one of the things that makes them so great.
It hurts them short term because it ruins depth, and hurts them long term because you'll have to pay Ant. Unless he's taking about shipping off KAT/Gobert even though this team is the first team to bring the nuggets to the brink of elimination since they've reached their apex.

Both nuggets games were close into the last 90 seconds… they lost badly in okc and then blew them out back in Boston when the celtics had nothing to play for. Lol Collin is the king of stupid conclusions based on twisting facts. Celtics just another team if they were in the West? They were 23-7 against the west. That's a better record than OKC vs the East (21-9) and Minnesota vs East (19-11) and one game worse than Denver vs East (24-6). And Collin actually brought up a fluke Lakers win without AD or LeBron as if it proved the Cs were what? Worse than the Lakers? Lol. Denver went 2-0 against the Cs this year, sure, won by a total of 8 points between the games. Hardly evidence of one team clearly better than the other. Vs OKC the Cs lost by 4 and won by 35. Vs Minny the Cs lost by 5 in OT and won by 7 in OT. And while we are at it, the nuggets split their series against the TWolves in the regular season (just like the Cs but both Cs games were OT finishes), and were 0-3 against the Thunder; while the TWolves went 1-2 against the Thunder. Collin is acting like the nuggets, Thunder and Twolves had dominant records between them and the Celtics for the season.

They play at Green Bay in week 7 I believe. And at Chicago in week 16
