Going 500 every year isn't anything to be happy about. They've needed to rebuild since the killer Bs left, but because of some great defensive talent and a top 5 coach they eek out a winning season every year and they just seem stuck and spinning their tires with no answers for offense especially qb.

Steelers went 5-1 in division in the toughest division last year. It’s tough but they will have a winning season. They always do

Uhh I wouldn’t throw that stat around, their one loss against the browns doesn’t tell the whole story.
They faced the burrow-less bengals late in the season when they were declining hard
They faced ravens week 18 where the ravens were a lock for #1 cede and were already in playoff prep mode.
And finally their win against the ravens was a low scoring messy game that could’ve went either way but came down to some messy fumbles and int by the ravens. And their win against the browns was again a one possession game decided by a fumble returned for a td, which you can’t depend on every game.
I don’t think 5-1 paints a good picture there was a lot of good fortune for the Steelers and you can believe the bengals are not an easy 2-0 wash this year. I have nothing against your team btw just saying it how it is.

For example, when the dolphins were on a hot streak, the games against the bills and ravens where they got completely torched showed that they probably couldn’t handle a play off team. You could definitely say, the bills ended 11-6 and the dolphins ended 11-6, but the game result doesn’t tell the whole story. Tangent, which is why bad analysts sometimes get away with horrible takes, they don’t watch the games and report off a record.
Without Burrow last year we beat Cincinnati twice. This year I think we split it 1-1. Your prediction of a winning season for us is hopeful but I’ll go with that.

They will beat Atlanta they're going to play rookie quarterback in Denver Chargers come to Pittsburgh, week 4 they beat Indy. 4-0 or 3-1. Week 5 Dallas at home, Tomlinson wins in prime time. Week 6 they will beat Las Vegas. They will have 1 loss when they play Baltimore, Lamar has never beaten the Steelers so they keep winning

The beauty of the NFL season is that everyone starts out undefeated. As the season wears on, more is decided by the Health of each team then any supposed schedule. The Bears were competitive, last year, so expectations are higher. The Ravens and or the Chief are the TEAMS to beat.
I predict the 9ers to make it back to the SB or at least the Championship game. Their roster is still too loaded and with even more of a chip on their shoulder now.
Last year TJ Watt called out the NFL for being anti Steelers. There was some truth to it but I had no issues with doubting it. Having all the divisional games stacked from week 11 on is pure insanity. First half of the season is favorable for the Steelers and very key they are .500 or above at bye week. The second half of the season especially early with 4 divisional games early will be tough. But if they win out in that early stretch theyll be good.
Steelers have a weird schedule but it will work in their favor. Same 3 opponents crammed together like that allows them to hyper focus on those teams and their playbooks - thats an advantage.

Steelers will be riding a WC spot for sure. They will be ok, I do think Steelers fans are a little to confident though. Browns and Bengals go into that stretch healthy. Those are some tough games

Chargers have 3 AFC North matchups in a 4 week span which will be tough and that week 1-week 4 stretch can be tricky for em because theyll play only one bad team on paper so far in Carolina. 2 divisional games against LV(My Squad and)which is damn near a road game for em and KC who will most likely beat them unless Herbert goes crazy. Pittsburgh on the road aint a cake walk either especially when the weather is still good which can benefit the Chargers to but I dont see a W for em there either.
So, I could see the Bears going 0-4 to start the season. Despite what you think of the Titans, Williams struggles early. Titans win. Colts and Texans are arguably just flat-out better teams. Rams will be better than people think.
Personally, I believe Williams and the Bears are a bit over hyped. Odunze is a rookie. Allen and Moore, I don't think either one is a wr1. Just my thoughts....

One thing people forget about the over-rated record of Mike Tomlin (never a losing season).
For most of the 90's and 2000's the Bengals and Browns were 2 of the worst teams in the league.
That's 4 layups a season. All the Steelers needed to do was eek out 4 more wins to go .500 (8-8)
Fact of the matter is Pittsburgh hasn't been relevant in well over a decade, haven't won a playoff game in 9 years, after this season it will be 10

I’m a Niners fan. I really feel like this Super Bowl loss was a back breaker. I think that’s a good thing and a bad thing. I don’t know how good we will be during the regular season as we will definitely have a severe hangover. However come the playoffs, tell me you want to face them at all. They looked terrible all last January and sleep walked their way to a three point lead in OT with an opportunity to win the Super Bowl.

Colleges does not realize that AFC North ball is different. All of those games in that division are always post with the Steelers and Steelers won almost all of their divisional games last year.

I am not super high on Wilson or Fields as the PIT QB, but i would easily put PIT at probably 10-11 wins. I am a Steelers fan that watched the team last year play badly on offense and win 10 games and have 5 wins in division. A great draft with what we would hope is a good offensive coordinator and what should be 2 good to possibly very good QBs, and I'm supposed to believe they will be under .500? I think their is a lot of disrespect being put on the Steelers.

@@HalooINC yea im not expecting Arthur Smith to be like a top 5 coordinator, but his concepts at least had some life to them in Atlanta compared to Canada. Atlanta's offensive players werent great, but i liked some of their calls and of course his league leading year in Tennessee was great. Im not expecting 5000 yards and 35-40 touchdowns across our 2 QBs at all. Im just thinking way less 3 and outs and maybe some sustained drives with some RPOs or play action leading to far more scoring. The Steelers were awful pointing points on the board the last 3 years. Im hoping the moves made in free agency and the draft really bolster the offense. Our secondary isnt amazing and the run defense had alot to be desired at the end of the year, but the defense is usually solid so improving the offense i believe will go a long way in making this team viable late as compared to the last 4 to 5 years.
The Steelers were good last year and that was with Pickett and Rudolph. russell is gonna come back with a bounc back season. I think the steelers will impress and win the division.

Colin ... cmon man. Talk to someone who plays football. A rest deficit is a big deal. And 4x rest deficit against 4 toughest teams is massive. They were 1-2 last year VS teams coming off a bye. This is gift wrapped for those opponents.
Chicago 2-4 at bye week. I honestly only see them beating Titans and Panthers, but even the week 1 matchup can be a loss.
I feel like the bears are more talent than the colts and rams those are toss ups... it's also a toss up against the Texans.
Also Colts don't have a good passing game, but they do have a lethal running game . It's not like the bears can't just load up the box with their number 1 rush defense.
By the time Steelers play the bengals and ravens burrow or Lamar could be hurt (history shows that) also Steelers are 7-1 in the last 8 games vs the Ravens. Colin said the same thing last year.. and the year before that about Steelers having losing record

Steelers are 8-1 in their last 9 games against the Ravens, in games Burrow starts the Steelers are 3-2, and Deshaun Watson is 1-3. By the math Steelers sweep the Ravens, split with the bengals and browns. That math also accounts for having Kenny Pickett, a qb with worse stats than JaWalrus Russell and Matt Canada, arguably the worst OC in league history. The team upgraded at both this offseason. They’ll be fine if they’re healthy.
