This is one of the best fan creations I’ve ever seen, it’s truly is a masterpiece ✨
The "ball turrets" look exactly like the Ion Cannon battery on Hoth.
I made a blaster rifle for star wars that I call an ABR-75, it stands for Adaptive Battle Rifle, it comes with four configurations, first is the Assault configuration which fires at the same power as an A280 and fires in semi auto, full auto and 3 round burst, and has a 250 shots and 400 meter range, second is sniper configuration and in this configuration the barrel extends a few inches and fires high power blaster shots with a range of 2000 meters and 50 shots, third is Anti Tank configuration that has 10 shots and fires explosive shots with 250 meter range, fourth is stealth configuration and it comes with a second under barrel with a built silencer and it fires metal projectiles and is feed through a 15 round magazine into the blasters hand grip and the blaster pack is loaded into the gun by breaking the stock open similar to a double barrel shotgun.
It's kinda like the clone commando blaster but it doesn't require you to change out barrels so use the other configurations, you just press a button setting on the blaster and you're good to go.
This has to be my favorite fan design star destroyer so far. Thank you and great job to those who created it, and thank you Eck for featuring it!
Looks like the negative space in the centre could perhaps be used to carry and protect the interdictor so that it's not vulnerable when it first arrives on a battlefield, as interdictors are a good target for rebel commanders
One thing I think with the Magister class ship that i think would have been really cool is if there was a set of hangars on the outside of the magister connecting to the negative space on the inside of the magister, similar to how the providence CIS ship hangar connect from one side to the other
Disney and comic writers: Is for me?
I like how there's more than two shield generators.
It looks like it's supposed to be able to house and maybe carry a star destroyer. Another thought I had about that empty space is, would tie fighter and other imperial starfighters be able to deploy and get into battle formations within this empty space, that is assuming that area is shielded. And finally, I don't think the hangar on the back is necessarily for generalcghter deployment, more likely it's for quick deployment of repair crews and
The imperial Nebulon B reminds me of a Littoral Warship in real life.
what would be realy intresting if that middle lager hanger was a bit bigger so it could send out lancers or other support ships not just fighters
Very nice work and looks great. How do space ships get rusty though?
I like the Viscount star defender best.
Now watch them steal this one too!
I believe this ships size is approximately 2.6km, so it could definitely fit an ISD in its negative space lol
I have been a Howard Day since he putting up pictures waaaaay back in the day on Wing Commander CIC.
Disney: I own this.
Wow, beautiful ship, I'd love to have one of these bad boys as my flagship in EaW.
Arnt the "ball turrets" ion cannons? Like the one at both?
That is amazing!
So when are these assets going to show up in a comic?
INB4 Marvel steals this design.
192 Turbolaser barrels on the top of the ship alone.
If a large ship is required then this is what thrawn would go for
у Венатора был огромный недостаток, выраженный огромным и уязвимым ангаром. Этот корабль возвел этот недостаток в абсолют. Как синдикалисты.
Disney: "Thanks, we'll take it from here. See ya!".
Meanwhile a huge chunk of a planet was mined for the materials
Basically it is a Star Destroyer with a hole in the middle. Got it.
Were those ion cannons on the bottom???
Honestly while I love much about Star Wars and Sci-Fi overall the _one thing_ that I've always hated was the greebling because it just honestly looks so *_ugly_* to me. I'd understand greebling occurring with intense wear and tear, but other than that I just don't like it; greebling makes me feel as though everything's going to fall apart into billions of tiny pieces at any moment, and that the slightest bit of damage would completely destroy it. I'd love to see starships that actually look advanced; super sleek and smooth, intentional design, looks stable, etc.
Cool form but doesnt make sense that the Hangar bay is right infront of the Engine. I assume it's functioned as a carrier
Looks like he based some of the details off an Imperial II if you look at the conning tower/bridge. More weapons than a Star Destroyer?? Even then I would have a least 4 Star Destroyers, and about a couple dozen or so Arquitens, Strike Class and Dreadnaught cruisers.
I can smell the creators computer from here.
me after watching this ship: HOW THE FUCK DID THE EMPIRE LOSE AGAINST THOSE FECKING REBELS??
WoW just WoW!
When the fan ships look better then the official ones.
Ikr lol. this looks way better than the original ones. tbh this ship should be canon

The “Ball turrets” look a lot like the ion canon from ESB on Hoth. Maybe the Empire finally took a page out of the rebels book and use them to disable large rebel ships and tractor into the belly of beast
Technically, the concept of using Ion Cannons has always been there. I don't know about the ball turrets but the game Empire At War clearly has the ion cannons as a subsystem for capital ships and is apart of the ship-to-ship arsenal.

I love the design but the negative space seems kinda the wrong thing for a star destroyer/fleet carrier. You would want all the space you can get for storage
The first thing I thought when I saw the negative space was "Damn, this thing can carry a star destroyer". I legit thought it might've been like an Imperial version of Halo's Infinity.
@@watermelongaming3698 that would've been sick
its probably meant to act as a mobile space station, in point defense logic you want your weapons to not only be near the core of the ship protecting vulnerable parts like the bridge, engines, and reactor, but you also want to control the air-space around and in front of the launch vector for the hangars, creating a ship with a large forward/bow focused anti-starfighter defense array to protect its hangars is an excellent way to do this. you don't want all of your point defense in one spot, you wanna spread it into multiple defensive lines starting with the farthest from the vulnerability, followed by a second defensive line to eliminate stragglers, followed by a final defensive line maintaining the heavy artillery to take out larger vessels or tactical missiles.
additionally, i'd like to add a minor design revision that allows some of the negative space to be
used to repair or maintain a medium sized vessel like an arquitens light cruiser or something similar.
My interpretation is 'finished' versions would have massive doors that could close, allowing it to carry absurd amounts of cargo, or tractor beam damaged ships into the negative space so repairs could be performed in the field with relative security
I wonder how long it will be until someone from Disney steals this design for a comic.
As long its Jon Favoro, I have no problem with it.

I honestly think that these ships are far more interesting than some that we actually see in movies and such
Looking at you Xyston
They are interesting but at the same time, there is a major lack of logic in that negative space design. It just don't fit the universe (still cool). It has no internal space for a reactor anymore. Could have made a much smaller ship with the same internal capacity, and a much smaller surface area. Basically it's a large flying hangar bay with no effecitve sheilds, not enough power for its weapons & drives. Damned good looking though.
@@cgi2002 Yes and no. That rear reactor bulb is massive. I bet it houses nearly as much reactor power as an interdictor. Plenty for SW style shields
@@ogmechsftw considering the reactor in an interdictor is smaller (its deceptive but the comparative sizes if the ships make up for it) than the one in an ISD 2, and this ship appears to he several times the size of an ISD 2, its doubtful.
@@cgi2002 due know it's a fleet carrier and lazers in starwars are actually plasma bolts of hot gas and that honestly the Ship is practically because it makes more than up for it in terms of fighter component and that it's not just sat in one single spot [ looks at isd 1 and shivers ] it's a fleet carrier and is not designed to go up against capital ships directly it is heavily armed and probably lighty armored but just as deadly and it fits as a dedicated carrier ship because at this point the Aclemater is not really in service with the empire anymore, and it has 2 times the firepower of a single ISD while likely being a bit bigger and I wouldn't be surprised if longer ranged turbolazers were used.
Fans are creating these ships, and the actual movie crews create garbage like the Xyston... Tell me who is doing the better job?
I love how your friend has ECHenry's un-stripped Nebulon in the establishing shot of the Magister class. Awesome!
Strange how some fan can make a design like this which looks like it belongs in the star wars universe and Disney comes up with the xython class.lazy!
If I were to use the Xyston but had to keep the cannon, I'd make it target other capital ships. Beast case scenario it one-shots all smaller ships, if not, than the shields take a massive hit and the ship becomes more vulnerable.
I actuality don't like the turrets.
The empty space, semi exposed reactor and the fact that most of the ship is one big thin bar makes me suspect that shes quite delicate compared to a ISD or most other ships in her weight class.
Only keep just enough turrets to fend off fighters and the odd corvette or small frigate. Then strip out all the rest for as much hangar space as humanly possible. power saved can be diverted to engine because she cant be caught by a brawler.
The empire has plenty of big gun scary ships. it needs as much hangar space as it can get.
I don't mind the turrets... it's the empty space and how it is laid out. The Bow and Aft are fine... the connections are, as you said, the weak points. She doesn't have enough weapons nor hangar space on the bars to justify their existence.
@@aralornwolf3140 If she wasn't designated as a fleet carrier then of course i wouldn't mind and as a art piece she looks super cool but as it stands i would prefer a Secutor.starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Secutor-class_Star_Destroyer/Legends
as i suspect a secutor would be both more durable and have a slightly larger fighter wing at the same cost and size.
@@kybercat7 ,
Agreed, she looks beautiful.
@@aralornwolf3140 It looks for me, that ISD can fit into gasp, maybe it can refuel even this big ship, or even "dock them" and literaly carry whole fleet. How to get disabled ISD to shipyard for repair? Take this shih, dock ISD to it and take it to hyperspace. Maybe to much fantasy, but it will be cool
@@tomaskops7119 ,
Repair ships exist... they are part of any fleet train along with transports, hospital ships, and ammunition ships. All they need to do is get the backup hyperdrives operational... and the ship can then head to the dockyard for repairs.
starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Repair_barge
Although, they are referred to as barges in Star Wars lore and not a ships. That's an insult to their existence. :/
Really beautiful scenes all in all, it just makes it more annoying that Disney will take these kind of models without the creators' permissions.
He says ball turrets but they look like the ion cannon from Hoth..
I think they are ion cannons, though not as large as the Hoth defence gun. IIRC FractalSponge and some other prominent fan-ship designers used the sphere turrets on a lot of their fan star destroyers and sorta normalized their use.
So instead of hiring this young man and paying him to make some AWESOME ships for the SW universe, they will just blatantly rip off his work and walk away as a bunch of a holes.
Won't be surprised if this star destroyer is stolen by you know who
But Star Wars doesn’t exist in the Harry Potter universe...

Yes, I design Star Wars capital ships myself. I'm already drawing the Tarkin class Star Dreadnought. which is a Star Dreadnought of the First Order, with more than 22 km capable of carrying more than 2,000 TIE Fighters and 80,000 Stormtroopers. This ship would have more than 4 reactors made with experimental technology, in addition to having three Commando towers. This ship would also have invisibility generators and class 0.5 hyperdriver. It would have more hidden hangars and the ability to carry a Resurgent Star Destroyer in the umbilical hangar.

The Eclipse used to be my favorite star wars ship design. Used to.
This is super great work by true fan and artist! Still after long look I have issue with ship design. Command part of ship is right near engineerng and fighter bays... which means every important part of ship is in one place leaving most of its size, space pretty much uselles.
Not really because there are gun emplacements and hangers at the front of the ship and I think it may have a bunch of necessary stuff elsewhere
@@howlofwinter8264 It still more vulnerable to attack from a compromised hull integrity, less armament and hangar space that could be carried, and a reactor bulb situated near the engines.
@@howlofwinter8264 But if you think about it, 1) design is vulnerable because everything from shield generator to all what I already mentioned must be at one place so any enemy attack will after explosion of that part criple or rather destroy entire ship which is not case in normal design.
2) Alright lets say in other section of ship are storage areas for spare parts etc, now when they need personel and that parts in main hangar bay they need to move them from front part of ship! Because there is just not enough space in that main back part for any of this.
3) I say it could be fixed if wings would be wider all the way up to main hangar bay giving enough mass to move command forward + enough space for all service areas. :-)
Honestly? Not a fan. The model is great, don't get me wrong, but my issues come from a design and utility standpoint. That gap in the center of the hull is nothing but a liability. But what about its ability to dock and carry Star Destroyers, some might ask, as the creator implied it could? To that I ask.... why? Does this ship have a class 1 hyperdrive or faster? What tactical or strategic benefit is there to doing so? None. For all of that hull you've removed you could have included space for additional fighter hangers instead. Additional cargo space for fleet supply. Additional power generation, shield generators, weapons. And whatever benefit might have been derived from negative space that doesn't need to be shielded or that incoming fire could pass harmlessly through is negated by the structural weaknesses that come with this design where only part of the hull need be damaged to disable the ship.
It's cool, don't get me wrong... but there's a good reason you don't see this type of design floating around often. It's not practical.
Only a matter of time before some Marvel editor decides to take one of these ships
Hey eckhartsLadder can you. Do halo mammoth vs Star Wars juggernaut plz love vids thanks😃😃👍✌️
