I like how no matter what Kevin does he always end up with NPCs as prisoners that work for him as slaves. In this case literally by having them paint for him
This Is one of the oldest tricks Kevin has for torturing npcs, escifically Sims. Having Sims paint for him Is basically Jim's happy place.

@@pedrovallefin8406 Is it really torture, though? They willingly agree to paint and Jim is even nice enough to grace them with his presence as they do so.
Mobile freeplay version is suitable best for this you can make them first work their jobs then grow plants 12 hours straight and sell veggies and they will start to get moody and hungry only after like 3-4 days. But of course its more boring cause there is nothing they can do without your instructions and you cant skip actions have to pay for it.
Cause he probably hates working just like rest of us. If I could capture some npcs and force them to work for me without any consequences I would do it too 😂

Legitimately impressive - the club member rotations, the cupcake machine, the coffee machine for energy, the club perks. Kevin really is a genius on all fronts 😂
This time he really manage to build something that could work long-term. You know, instead of something that will inevitably self-destruct by way of being naturably flawled. Though i have the felling that, if this were to keep going, everyone but Jim and Kevin (or just everyone but Jim) would end up in the "resting" room and the system would fall apart once again.
@@pedrovallefin8406 The only real limitation as long as he keeps rotating people into the vault of death is the number of sims in the game. Which is 80 by default, but can even be set to unlimited(strongly not recommended by the developers... but what's the worst that can happen?).
I did a multigenerational challenge like this where all the sims were in an apocalypse bunker. It was utter degeneracy. 10/10 do recommend.

Yeah, but this Time, he's doing it with them. So its less like kidnapping and slavery and more like a post-apokcalitic nightmare where society divides between the people that do the work and the people that profict at their expence (the later just being Jim and Kevin). Or, to put it another way, its the same as always but there's no basement nor way out.

This is clearly an alternarte timeline where Jim Is confortable not having the spotlight while still gleefully stealing people's livehoods. If this were the main timeline, cousin Kevin would be either in the basement or long dead for dearing to steal Jim's thunder.

The storyline where he is the main protagonist (not this save) and the storyline where he is the secondary protagonist (this save), also called a deuteragonist. Whether it is his normal chaos in his main save, or just flavored chaos for making protagonist Kevin suffer in this save, werewolf Jim would be lovely.

9:30 Having Jim writing the children's book about being trapped reminded me of something I did to a sim named Micah McDonnell.
He stole painting from my house. (Only worth $15 but that is besides the point). So i befriended him and locked him in the basement. I forced him to eat only plasma fruit which makes non vampires very sick. He also had to write children's books for a living. These books were titled
HELL IS REAL!!!!

I kept freeze raying him and forcing him to do cocaine and speed. I even tried to set him on fire but that guy just wouldn't die
This was probably one of the nicest and most humane ways of making money that Kevin has done in Sims. Unlimited coffee, cupcakes, a hot tub and painting doesn't sound bad

If you are wondering why he never received the child, let me tell you why. When you pick the option to adopt, you will need to go outside and your sim will disappear for a while. Then there will be a popup that says your sim is bringing home the child. Then your sim and the child you adopted will appear outside, except if its a baby.

Sims Developers: Oh god no, what is this psychopath doing to our game now?
Kevin, a thought: instead of replacing broken things, have your Sims repair them. You save money (replacing it basically means you buy it again; repairing is free), you get upgrade parts (which you can sell if you want), and the sim builds their handiness skill, which is surprisingly worthwhile. Upgrading things is also really worth it. Sometimes it makes them give sims good moodlets when used, which can help balance out the misery a little… there are also speed upgrades, which means more time for painting!
I’d also recommend investing in a better trash can. There’s this one, I can’t remember what it’s called but it’s the most expensive trash can in the base game, it’s sleek and white and the thing is-it never fills up. That means no piles of trash on the floor. Also, what makes it especially worth investing in is that it actually gives you money when you throw things away. It’s not a lot, but when you have that many sims producing garbage? It adds up.
Brilliant video as always, I very much enjoyed it, but thought maybe you’d like these tips for the future!

Noticed you have some frame rate issues when going in and out of build mode, unsure if this will help or even be seen but sometimes pausing and unpausing the game can help with that! At least it has in my experience :)

Kevin and Jim flirting is the most romantic and cannon thing I’ve seen yet
I only ever had The Sims 1 base game. Watching you just kill a Sim as a menu option, and having time to do anything but eat, go to the bathroom, shower, sleep, go to work, and try desperately to keep friendships (before, of course, the Sim becoming so depressed that he catches the kitchen on fire and _refuses_ to put it out then dies alone, hungry and destitute), is absolutely _wild_ to me.
Can you still do gardening indoors with planter boxes and pots? If so, Kevin could start an indoor garden as another way to make money. He could keep his torture club.... I mean painting club, and then use the gardening as an extra way to earn money. It could also potentially be another way to raise fun, and once you unlock it the "talk to plant" interaction can help social too.
Also, Kevin could have used a little exploit to get the mailbox indoors if he really wanted to do things like publish books. Just make it so that a room is considered outdoors, then put the mailbox in there and fix the room so it's no longer outdoors. Of course the mail carriers won't be able to physically get to the mailbox, but this is a Sims game and so they will magically toss everything in anyway lol.
I seriously love how Jim Pickens was originally a random side character and has turned into such an alpha main character in thr Sims series.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but you can place the city living apartment mailbox anywhere inside a house. Great way to have prisoners ship Plopsy items and publish books.
