Yeah. It came from the 2000s, from Eminem’s song ‘Stan’ which was about an obsessive fan called Stanley Mitchell who killed Eminem’s pregnant girlfriend. Just like the word ‘fan’ which originally derived from the word ‘fanatic’, the word ‘stan’ also lost a lot of its negative connotations because English is a living language.
Therefore, I am using the words correctly when I say I am a ‘fan’ of Papa Pickens in that I mean, I am an actual fanatic. When she is saying that she stans our Dear Leader, I assume she means she would kill for him as was originally meant. Just as expected of any of us who follow the words of our Dear Leader.

Ok, but my actual name is Tea, and this really freaked me out
If I'm recalling correctly, Harry did actually try to magic in some water for Dumbledore in the cave. The cup was magicked to make any water not from the surrounding pond immediately disappear. So he kept filling the cup/bowl and the water kept draining before he could get Dumbledore to drink, thus why he had to touch the water surrounding the island.
Also Harry didn't use better spells underwater because he was below the age required for the Triwizard tournament and therefore hadn't learned as much as the other candidates. I think Cedric ended up using that spell to put a bubble around his head because he knew it.
I can't recall if the book says this wouldn't work, but could he not have tried summoning water directly into dumbledores mouth skipping the enchanted cup?
