Yeah, I hope the devs fix this dlc. Does the game not track the 'beauty' of rooms, or does Rimworld have a better sense of rooms' comfort level than the Sims? And why wouldn't being on a job restrict what you can do in building mode? Why is the Sims 4 less of a game than Sims 2???
It's amazing to see many people trying to play this expansion properly and not getting paid for the renovations and then there's Jim making money out of literal trash.
It's because they don't "show" the items that match the Sims wants. I absolutely love that Kevin made their houses shit shows and got paid top dollar and people like plumbella try-harded and got nothing bc she showed the wrong items
@@mjbutnotmaryjane Carl did something similar when the pack came out, essentially he threw down the items they requested and put a pile of dog poo as his calling card and they loved it. The job is dead easy that way. I'm guessing the people who are having trouble with this job are expecting the sims hiring them to give a damn about what they think is awesome when all they care about is 3 simple instructions that they could have just done themselves with a bit of paint and spare cash.

Ok but sims 4 is 10x worse; they strip the base game down to the bare bare essentials and charge tf out of you to get back so much stuff that should have been in base game. Outside that: your sims are wholly self reliant - there's no effort in keeping them alive or building lives, you can let them autopilot and the game plays itself. The whole of sims 4 is just painfully empty and devoid of joy - sims 2 at least had humor.

This is by far my favorite series in entirety, never a dull moment that's for sure. These videos has helped pass my time while deployed overseas. Truly a masterpiece and a job well done. I cant wait for more of this!

For how much they charge for these expansion packs, you'd think there'd be a process in the game that could judge a room or at least recognize when it doesn't meet a basic human standard. nah they design these games as simple as possible to reward Kevin
yeah I mean all you gotta do is make "environment factor" matter or have like a score for that, since "environment" is a real ass thing in this game and also like require things like chairs to base the room on..I mean it wont be very different but it would be like 50% more normalish.

Between Carl's Sim Guides filling their renovated rooms with dog poop and Kevin filling them with trash and graves and still getting a success, I think we can possibly agree that this pack is a little bit broken

Kevins sims series is the perfect heartbreak entertainment for me xD. I watched them all through my bad breakup last year, now im back after breaking up with my girlfriend a few months ago and being rejected by my crush.

This is the only correct way to play an interior decorator in the sims. In sims 3 I like to create an underground maze for my clients with all the required objects in unnecessarily awkward locations around it

I've watched every episode in the Sims4 series at least twice but I gotta say, this one made me laugh the hardest.
I love Kevin’s comments on the childnapping but I vividly remember a video of him grabbing a small child on the streets and running away with it
