Outstanding explanation. Great job.
Thanks so much for the support Norm 🙏🏻😁
#4 is the hardest in this newbies opinion. Only one I might have struggled more with was alley dock. Practice is key.
Thanks for reaching out/weighing in on it 🙏🏻 appreciate the new driver’s perspective. And for sure practice is important annnd that alley dock was a bear 😁
Always love the drone stuff. Congrats on the 8K.
Me too 😲 Thanks so much dude💥
I know it gets easier with practice but this video makes it look easy
Thanks for reaching out 😁🙏🏻 just takes a little time and focus 🙌🏼
@@CDLYeah I plan on doing my best and not letting anyone down!
Va starts new standards May 1. Your videos are a godsend for someone halfway through school lol. Bought your study guide today!
So glad to help you in that transition! Pro tip, double check the order of the for VA’s 4-stage ABT, some states have required the stages be done in a specific order. 🤓🤙🏼
Great video, Danny! Love the drone shot view. I need you to teach me how to parallel park my normal car now 😂
Hahaha 😅 Thanks so much! You'd be a quick study I'm sure 🤓
Bruh thank you bruh!!! I dnt know how much tests differ from state to state but this is the EXACT test i have to take. Thanks, I test this week so this was exactly what i was looking for!! you favor Steve Nash a little by the way.
My dude! Thank you so much for reaching out and the good vibes! Glad you found us! And I will deffffinitely take the Steve Nash comp, dude could ball 🏀😁🙌🏼

Your nickname must be M. Jackson because you're definitely The BACKING K!NG!!
💪
Hey that’s a pretty good one 🤣🙋🏻♂️
Quick Question, for the offset back. How do you center your trailer within the 3ft box? What do you look for in your mirror so that you do not cross the 3 ft box. Also if you cross that box is it an automatic fail? Thanks for the videos!
Thanks so much for reaching out! 🙋🏻♂️😁 Now, I am not sure if you are talking about the forward or backwards offset. If you mean the forward offset your test state makes a difference. Where and when are you testing?
I am in colorado and I mean my reverse offset and the position of the rear end within the 3ft box. I am testing on monday. I am a bit neevous since I have only practiced with a tandum and 40ft trailer
When you are doing a straight back and your trailer drifts to the left should I turn my steering wheel right same thing with if it's going left the trailer I should turn steering wheel right correct I'm in the school now I want to try to get my license so I can drive for you but I can't travel out there to do to class cuz I still need to keep my job to pay my rent any pointers on backing would be appreciated hopefully to be a future employee of yours🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Thanks so much for reaching out 🙌🏼 yeah it can seem overwhelming at first but steering at the back of the trailer is the simplest way to begin. If the back runs right, steer right. If the back runs left, steer left. And do your best not to “over steer”, that is the biggest problem for folks starting out, over correcting, remember to tailor it. Small problems only need small solutions. 😎🤙🏼
@@CDLYeah I ll will try that come Saturday and Sunday they told me the opposite if the trailer drifts left turn right and drift right turn left I will do it your way come this weekend, when get my
License I ll be working for you I have my permit step closer
What is the width and length of the box so I can set up cones
Thanks for reaching out 🙌🏼 The box is 12x100, I can send you the specs as an image if you email me, dannybcrisp@gmail.com 😁
Currently in training for my class a in Colorado, having trouble with offset backing any pointers or advice
Congrats on getting trained up 🤓🙌🏼 I’d recommend following these simple steps to master your trailer control 🚀💥

@@CDLYeahThank you, sorry i meant backwards offset having trouble where to place my trailer wheels
Hi Danny, is this new backing standard for all trucking schools in all states for 2024? I was old videos on youtube and it seem a little different with for example the examiner will tell you do ally docking or right or left parallel parking?
Fantastic question James 🙌🏼😁 The federal standard changed and different states are adopting those changes on different timelines. So, for example PA and MO both test on the New Standard, while UT for example uses the Old Standard. You need to find out when and where you will test to determine if that test will be the old "alley dock" style or the New Standard test format. Where and when are you testing?
I am testing in one month in Michigan?@@CDLYeah
Michigan next month@@CDLYeah
Please let me know how to get my class A CDL
Well, first step IMO, contact Heather Ross in recruiting, hross@driveforprime.com and tell her I sent you. 🤓🙌🏼
How much do lease operators avg a week
Depends on the operator and the lanes, are you just starting out or coming from another carrier?
In pa can't parallel park
Tell me more 😁🤔
No more Alley Dock?
No more alley dock! 🤷🏻♂️😎 Crazy right?
@@CDLYeah Wow.
I just got my CDL Permit (CLP) with all my endorsements today.
My cousin said that Alley Dock was the hardest maneuver.
I’m excited to start CDL school next week.
Thank you for making this video! 🙌🏽
