Really appreciate being able to enjoy Hollywood Squares !!! Laughter and really fun memories of many Actors and Actresses, Peter Marshall was extremely good at working with the contestants and the stars !
I have seen many episodes where Robert Fuller was on....he is PHENOMENALLY smart. He answered very difficult questions All correctly. No dummy & sooo Good Looking!!
The show needs to be made again , the host podium needs to have a desk same height as contestants to see more of the host and neon light x and o on the wall behind the contestants , who would host the new version ?😊😆😋
Paul Lynde was my favorite made me laugh still does even though hes gone his remarks make made me laugh so hard ! Ed McMann made me laugh too ! Also loved Jonathan Winters !
Panel: Ed McMahon, Elke Sommer, Robert Fuller, Karen Valentine, Paul Lynde (center square), Jimmie Walker, George Gobel, Marcia Wallace & Jonathan Winters.
The Alice Johnson question, was proof that the show often plugged another show, or a star. What is the chance, that that question, just happened to be given, to Karen? It could not possibly have been random
I loved watching Holly Wood Squares in the 70s and 80s the best When Paul Lynde was on ! He was so funny ! I saw it as a kid but loved it better as a teen and young adult when Paul Lynde Wally Cox Charlie Weaver others were on Paul Lynde was my favorite ! Always looked to humor to cope with my depresson and problems still look to humor !!
Chuck Barris thought so too, he introduced her on the gong show as "the always Swedish Elke Sommer!!" She rolled her eyes and smiled and said "wrong, I'm German". Chuck took it in stride, I think he gonged himself in response.
I'm sorry, Jonathan Winters fans, but this guy is about as funny as a box of rocks. He's supposed to do all kinds of voices and imitations and characters, but they all sound 90% alike. He always bored me tremendously.

Ah, 1976, when it was still okay to make jokes about getting plastered and then getting behind the wheel. Those were the good old days, sort of.
Back when men had hair on their mcnuggets

Can't beat Paul Lynde

I wonder how many people won the Kimball organ (Yippee!), took it home and the kids played more than an initial 10 minutes on it?
I love the show. But why did everyone have to fly from LA? I live in West Virginia. I won a vacation to Florida but I have to catch the flight in La?
Karen Valentine looks stunning here.

They're never random.

How did X get the 5 square win in the first round? Doesn't he have to earn that himself?
Not on a 5-square win, for some reason.
