Hollywood Squares- Spring 1975 (Carol vs. Ed)

By the mid-70s, the nighttime Hollywood Squares had added a third Secret Square game, with the car fee plug being restored back to the end of the show just like it did in the first half of Season 1. That said, here is an episode of the syndie Squares from the second half of Season 4 with this week's guests including future Master of the Squares John Davidson, Wink Martindale, country singer Buck Owens, the charming Michael Landon, the cute Charo, the sweet Rose Marie, the adorable Mike Connor, the lovely Lynn Redgrave, and of course, Paul Lynde in the center.

Strange they didn't change the 'plateau' from such a bleak color; The squares looked modern but the show host and contestants booth seems so drab. Loved this show btw..

Wink Martindale hosted Gambit on CBS at the time. By 1978, Wink will host a tic tac toe game Tic Tac Dough. By 1980, Wink's return to Gambit (on double duty) and Peter's Hollywood Squares will be heading to Las Vegas.
