- We have a Classic 1975 Episode of The Hollywood Squares Tune in for the Game Show Fever Chat! The Match Game/Hollywood Squares Marathon a 2 day event Beginning Thursday at 7:00PMET/4:00PMPT. Until then enjoyed this episode.
Paul Lynde was my very favorite on the show ! He always made me laugh and still laugh at all the remarks jokes he said on the show !

Wow. John & Joan on the same show. That's very ironic because what 10 years The Hollywood Squares would be revived in syndication with John Davidson as host and Joan Rivers as the center square.
Plus, Shadoe Stevens as the Announcer.
Yes Shadoe Stevens was the announcer for the John Davidson version, but what does he have to do with this version?

@@pacmannick I would have liked to see Mr. Kenneth William Fertig do more work. He had a great voice that I've only ever heard on three Heatter-Quigley game shows: Squares, High Rollers and Gambit.

Perhaps it might have been better if the questions asked to Miss Channing were things like "What is Your Name" or "What year is this"?

Ugh. Joan Rivers. All the other stars are funny and charming. Rivers is just annoyingly bothersome.
