Whoever was running the board for that show, did a terrible job. Was late putting the x's & o's up, or put the wrong one, on the square. Must have had a rough night.
Can you imagine if Paul and Richard Dawson were on this show,Paul would either A)Have a heart attack due to Dawson's almost dead-on impression of him or B)Smile with appreciation
It would have been hilarious if Gene Rayburn Brett Somers Charles Nelson Reilly Richard Dawson Fannie Flagg joined Rose Marie Karen Valentine and Paul Lynde on The Hollywood Squares!!---I forgot to add George Gobel!!
Judging by the fact David McCallum is referencing his series Invisible Man and Peter Marshall says Glen Campbell has a new hit on the charts in Rhinestone Cowboy, I'd say this likely aired in either June 1975. Invisible Man's pilot episode aired on May 6, 1975, and NBC announced it was going to be on the fall schedule on June 4, 1975. Rhinestone Cowboy was released on May 26, 1975. It reached #5 on the Billboard Easy Listening chart on July 13, 1975, so by then it was no longer new. That make June 1975 an educated guess as to when this episode aired. Maybe mid or late June as there's a delay between when a show is taped and when it is shown on TV.

Glenn could have done a good impression of Paul Lynde.
That illness question wasn't that confusing. And why are there only two women stars?
