Peter Marshall had to be one of the most friendly , congenial and fun hosts ever to be on a game show!

I sat next to Karen Valentine at a convention in the 90's and she still looked young and lovely, and was very poised.

Karen Valentine's quip at 15:48 flew completely under the radar, at least with Peter.

Back in the 1970s it was common to ask this question: "Would you rather get shot in the foot, or sleep with Marty Allen?" Most women said 'Shot in the foot!'

It's pretty 😎 to watch these shows derived from an old VHS recording, a second chance at life if you will

No, not to my 69 year old eyes. F.F. has more glamour, but if you want to say they resemble each other, fine. There's a little difference, and I can see it. July 31, 2021

Always thought Burt lost a poker game, and this was his payback.

Actually, Hollywood Squares helped Burt out early in his career, when things weren't going so well. He never forgot that. When his career took off, he still would come back occasionally, as a thank you for the help they gave him. Shows the kind of man he is.

Cis Rundle was the name of Hugh Hefner's secretary, maybe ,not her, but, she is definitely pretty enough.

@@MichaelSimmons. Not just that, but he ends up producing a few game shows as well, with Bert Convy.

It would have been nice if they had most of the cast of The Electric Company on The Hollywood Squares as well as regulars Rose Marie Paul Lynde and George Gobel or when they did their STORYBOOK SQUARES bit--THEY SHOULD HAVE DID "THE ELECTRIC COMPANY SQUARES".

What was that odd bird screech Peter Marshall abruptly made... Weird... maybe it was that very funny but subtle one liner straight faced answer Karen Valentine made.

Heater-Quigley kept booze around and wine with catered meals. Kept the talent loose, so to speak.
