    Its because you have awesome content mike. No other farmer would probably take the time to record the things you do, for instance recording yourself mudding around, or getting stuck and recording yourself pulling yourself out. others would probably think its to much time.

    18:41 A crescent wrench is better than a hammer. The crescent wrench is basically an adjustable hammer. I mean pretty much every tool can and will be used as a hammer.
    Your hammer of choice at any given time is the tool/rock/stick/.... that is closest to you.😎😁😂

    Triples look better anyway. Mike I always felt like they begin to float in the mud after a point on triples, huge wide footprint but when the tyres plug between each other it becomes a very wide looking land roller. The weight spread out to the side as opposed to directly under the machine makes a huge difference to the weight footprint. Just my views from driving on triples.

  • @Muffin_Masher

    Two tracks seem strange to me when it comes to tractors, makes perfect sense for a bulldozer or excavator etc that you want to go STRAIGHT and have good traction and floatation, but for a tractor I can't see how much the little extra footprint can make up for the control and manoeuvrability of articulation whether its tyres or tracks, unless of course most of your fields are just up and back in straight lines :) But then again growing up in western australia just about anything with more than 300hp that isn't articulated is kind of odd to me :P farming marginal land with limited rainfall means you don't get stuck very often :D

    • @alexmikhael5061
      @alexmikhael5061 2 года назад +1

      little ground torn up when turning, for LESS LPS (pounds per square inch) THAN A 280 lb PERSONS BOOT for ''compression'' far outweights the slight issues you get on ENDROWS while damage on endrows ''is normal'' eh... something like that...

    • @ke6gwf
      @ke6gwf 2 года назад

      Bulldozers do a lot more turning than the average big tractor like this! Lol
      And excavators are constantly spinning in circles.

    • @Muffin_Masher
      @Muffin_Masher 2 года назад

      @@ke6gwf indeed, but they are usually only WORKING in a straight line (or sitting still for an excavator), giving up half your traction/power to steer is not exactly ideal :P it certainly has it's place though, the extra footprint helps to stay above the surface, the lack of turning and effectively getting pulled IN to soft ground seems to negate it though, there is a good reason bulldozers tend to work in pairs, WHEN not IF one gets stuck the other pulls it out

    my friend Eli is a certified John deere mechanic, where we live there's only 2 brands you see used mostly deere and case. There is a sensor that is very touchy especially after 2 years which is the sensor responsible for giving the operator a estimated "slip" when pulling thru a sticky or muddy field, that being said I'm sure the deere slips more then the fendt I'm just saying it might not be slippn as much as you think. I loved the video Mike. I hope you and your family have a great 4th of July 🎉

    I know there compared about the same on horse power but witch one seems like it handles the drill in power I know the Deere is heavier you run your little different than we do in Kentucky we don’t have them big drills and carts like you all do but we do deep ripping and pull big disk what I was talking about on running different I know they all have a power band at certain rpm and running like the way you run helps with burning fuel where we run our at wide open throttle I have tried it both ways it seems like they burn the same amount of fuel the reason I run wide open is I have all of my power right there you get to a bad spot it will pull down to it power band and wide open I can keep it running cooler I everything seems to run cooler not just the engine I guess it boils down to different strokes for different folks keep up the good work and videos thanks mike keep it coming and stay safe

Also saw a tracked combine that they had put duals on the tracks. So I guess it can be done if needed.

    Hey Mike,here’s something that your You Tube analytics doesn’t show you…! I’m subscribed to 206 YT channels; 3 or so farming channels,3 or so logging channels,a few car crash channels,some true crime,some commentary channels, a handful of tech channels, classic car repair,film reviews,and politics,to name a few. Your channel is consistently the most watched out of all of those,and the ONLY channel where I make sure that I watch every video that comes out. Im not wanting a ❤️ from you,a job, a hug,a cookie, or wanting to get in your will or on your Christmas list. Although a complimentary patreon membership would be nice. Im sure others have much more solid Mike Mitchel bona fides than what I do,even! I forget where I was going with this. I think I was going to mention that sometimes I wish you would give just a tiny bit more insight into what’s happening on the rest of the farm! Like how are things going back at the main farm and all that. You don’t need to respond to this or change the way you do things one iota! You’re busy enough! I’m just giving you some feedback! I couldn’t enjoy your channel more!
    Edit: Hey,you did mention that things were very dry down south. I posted my original comment about halfway through the video!

      We only got stuck twice, but 8 times a day we spun out where I just had to lift up reverse a bit then go again and leave a bit of a hole in the feild, it's messy but there's really no other option
