I've learned so much as a cosmetology student watching your videos. I used this technique on one of my clients and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Honestly a breakthrough moment for me. Thanks for your videos ❤
This looks beautiful. I've been following your work for a while and it always turned out great:) I have two tips for you working which shades eq. The first is, if you want the best longevity for toner its best to formulate accordingly and let it sit on for the full 20 mins. Redken says you get one wash per one minute you leave shades on the hair. I put clear in my formula to accommodate the processing time and my clients get up to 20 washes:) Second tip, you don't want the toner to foam like shampoo, it won't deposit as much. Hope these are good tips. I've had the privilege of attending redken classes and symposium every year and love to pass on what I've learned:)
I love watching your videos! One suggestion, if possible, would be to make the music not so loud in between you talking. If I try and watch these quietly I have a hard time because I have to raise the volume when you speak and then turn it down when the music comes on. Great videos though!
I know like every RUclipsr does this on their videos :D Same in a lot of peoples vlogs etc. I don't know why. New to your channel Jessi but I already love it! Love how you explain every step, your videos are very informative
Let me start off by saying I love you I love when you do hair videos they are my favorites I really learned a lot from you and Im a stylist in Houston and I was thinking you should do a updated salon tour since you added some cool new things 🙌🏽☺️
Just came across your channel now and I am obsessed! I’ve graduated beauty hair school and am now apprenticing at a salon and was looking for more sources of education and this is awesome! ❤️❤️❤️
I just watched a video of yours from 2016 then watched this one next and your editing and video quality has gotten really great! also beautiful work!! great job all the way around :)
I love that yougo in to each thing step by step. I don't think the root smudge part was repetitive. For those of us that are still learning I think it helps. But ok I have a question! Can you just mix up the flashlift thicker instead of adding that powder in? Also, are you painting on the surface or are you penetrating it thru to the back of each section? Did you drop any sections out ?
I'm glad I saw this because I'm currently in cosmo school and they had us look at pictures and state what we would do. For a certain pic I said I would do a balayage and then do foil highlights at the front of the face (because that's what the picture looked like) & they told me I couldn't do it smh
So as a hairdresser...is it better for a client to buy hair extensions in the color they want to be, bring them to you and have you color match their own personal hair? Or is it better to go and get your hair the color you want and then try and order extensions that match? Hope that makes sense and sorry for all the questions!!
How long have you been doing hair? You seem very knowledge with it! I'm in Cosmetology school and what I don't understand yet is knowing what toners to use. Enjoy watching your videos! They teach me a lot!
All your videos are very good. I'm just beginning to do them. I prefer the Framar brushes as well. They always Blend perfectly. I have the same problem with wet hair at the sink using the wet brush (which i still love) so thanks for the referral. Where did you get it?
I just graduated cosmetology school and I need to buy a pair of good quality scissors in the 100 to 200 range can u give me some advice on a good pair? Thanks!!!!
What hair tool do you use to achieve those waves in your hair in this video? My hair is pretty long and doesn't really hold waves let alone curls... but I love your hair like that
Oh sorry, I just finished the video. I’m looking for the name of the balayage brushes you were mentioning. Not the detangling brush. Now that I see you’ve mentioned a few brushes.
I don't know if you've answered this in a previous video and I missed it, but how often do you suggest moving the tape-ins up, and do you have any tricks to getting all of the gunk they leave behind out of the hair?
Yooo my hair is so dark it’s almost black naturally and it’s been 6 months and I only have it at a medium brown :( stylists seem too scared to lighten my hair that much and I’m not sure if it’s because my hair is so dark or what but it’s kind of depressing how this girl got the look she wanted in only 1 visit
I'm sure you have said before, but do you have a favorite way you like to section for balayage? I'm always told to rotate diagonal back and diagonal forward sections, but I never see anyone doing it that way. What's your favorite way? :)
Danielle Zamarron ..Nah, nah, nooo... She didn't. She used it as a shampoo wash, massage specially on the crown and rinsed it right away...?!? You have to fully cover the hair with it, and leave on for at least 20 minutes. Mine says 30 minutes...
I didn't under stand what kind of brushes you for balayage brushes you use and where you get them , nothing personal but your speaker system also needs some work up . for example watch a vidal sasoon tape. P.S I no YOU want to DO YOUR own THING, S.M THANKS
