About two months ago, I released "I Was Wrong" to Spotify, Apple Music, and a whole bunch of other music streaming platforms, as well as music streaming platforms in China.
So far, the song has been featured on a couple of local music charts, had has received more than a million hits on Weibo (The Chinese equivalent of Twitter)
In this video, I will react to the reaction video about my new song, alongside my friend and colleague at GRT Radio, Michelle. Please note, the video is in Mandarin Chinese, but I have added English subtitles.

I love music since I was a kid in the 50s so you know I am an old man. Singing in foreign languages with fluency is not easy and you have done a wonderful job that even the local Chinese couldn't tell. I remember hearing The Seekers, The Bee Gees, Olivia New John in my days all so wonderful but I don't seem to recall they sang in any foreign languages so you have quite an achievement but the main things you enjoyed singing with your heart.

Dean Martin was one of the smoothest singer in that genre, he didn't how great he was but someone quietly reassured him he was just fabulous. So I want to encourage you to even develop further.Matt Monro was the British equal of Frank Sinatra, in his dying days, Sinatra sent him a get well note which not only surprised him but great booster to his morale. I learned from these people - be an encourager.

Thank you very much - though I still have a lot to learn. I know I still have a very strong accent, and I ashamed that after living in China for 10 years I still can't speak exactly like a local... but I'll keep at it, and hopefully one day I will be able to sound at least a little bit like a native speaker!
