Thats the Prime reason to test an tune saws, That's why I like to just go for it and try something different, if it dosent work, try again. That's how you innovate and improve vs doing everything the same way over and over, that Is the definition of insanity lol. Looks like your on a great track bud. I'm sure Eric is jumping up and down now. 😆 great work!!!!! That pipe is going ro really open it up.
I don't have much time playing with 372 stuff I sent Chad my clone for testing as I don't have time for testing it's like my 2nd attempt at a 372xp I think the white one I have here has more in it then the orange one does but I hope he runs the piss out of so we can see what holds up in them clones
@Cajun isn't that true for every theory? Anybody come up with one that doesn't have exceptions yet? Two many variables to have an all inclusive one that works. I'm a short blowdown guy in general (with exceptions) but as to why the epa restricted manufacturers seem to be running shorter blowdown these days, best theory I've read (and I'm a stihl guy so this comes from the 461,661,500is which share the long transfer desgin) is: Long transfer tunnels allow for some exhaust gases to rush down the transfers when they first open to act as a dam that allows most of the pressure from the combustion chamber to escape before fresh charge enters to lower the risk of losing fresh charge out the exhaust port WITHOUT having those exhaust gases come into crank case to mix with the totality of the incoming charge. Longer transfer duration to gives this all the time needed for this to happen. It changes a bit with new huskies since they're fresh air strato saws (I believe) as opposed to exhaust strato'd like the saws I listed above but it still seems to be theyre giving enough transfer duration for the stratification process to take place and still get adequate charge into the chamber. Im all for learning something new though so would love to hear your thoughts. Truth is, everything I know about two strokes can be summed up in the words, "No one knows a damn thing. It's all theory. We're all wrong. Two strokes are beautiful black magic. All you can do is guess and screw with it till it runs good"
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock I tend to think the engineers know what they are doing. Not to mention husqvarnas decades of port timing R&D with their motorcycles and chainsaws. Not too many saws throughout history with long blowdown ran worth a damn.
Out running the carb a little. Seen it before. You end up pulling enough vacuum it snuffs it.
LOL I was laughing my butt of looking at that muffler flopping around haha. She's a Ripper!
Sounds solid already. Looking forward to seeing it with the pipe on it.
That bisquick
What all was done to modify this saw?
Buckin Billy Ray is laughing his ass off 😅
Did you do the porting yourself?
Yeah

It keeps getting better and better.
I was waiting for the muffler to come bouncing off 😂 is that with the supplied farmertec carb?
Good eye hahaha, that's hialrious
Wow! From the numbers, I didn't think it would run half that good without the pipe. Gonna be a monster with the pipe!
Woah 😳 that thing has some balls! Incredible! 💪💪💪
Man that thing is totally wild.
Nice job man !
Great video nice job on the saw!! that muff wiggling its way off was interesting.
Runs good once you got her tuned in! Fast like it should be
Appreciate it buddy ole pal

@@Doc-Cole_Trickle-of-Chainsaws chomp!
Good class thanks good job sawrus
husqvarna uses shirt blow down in all the new saws. must mean something.
Old ones that ran like crazy too
Pretty sure it means they have long transfer tunnels and need more duration to compensate for the larger distance the charge has to travel
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock several dual ports blow that theory out of the water
