It is lovely here in North Florida today (17 C) and I am, for a change, not wearing vanilla. I am wearing a fragrance I started wearing in 1977 when I was 15 and my love has never waivered - Miss Dior Originale. I was clearly in a hurry to grow up and longed to be an elegant lady 🤣🤣🤣
I cannot express how happy I am to see that you are back!!!!! This just put the biggest smile on my face! Candy Yum Yum sounds super interesting, as it is not something that I would generally lean towards...but that guava is really tempting me. Recently, I have been wearing (almost exclusively for the last month or so) "The Ghost In The Shell" by Etat Libre D'Orange. I have also been forcing myself to try some WILD (and by wild I just mean things I'd generally never pair outside of my comfort zone) combinations, and my favorite so far has been putting on Oil Perfumery's version of Byredo's Mojave Ghost and layering that with "Sugar Rush" by Oakcha. On me, it smells like this candied, earthly sapodilla fruit sprinkled with humid air, orris root, and musks. Much love to you, and I'm happy to have seen you pop up again ❤

I don’t know what is happening; it doesn’t matter, I’m just perplexed by how uncomfortable I am seeing my image reversed… my own oddities aside, let me return to this video…
Oh, I hear you about being off the socials these days. I was on an extended break, and it was so good for my soul! I highly recommend people stay away if possible, even if it means I don't get to chat with them in the comments. Honestly, the cons way outweigh the pros of social media of any kind for sure, and I'm so honoured that you're here! The reversed image thing is a weird one, right? If they're still photos, I'm TOTALLY uncomfortable, too. But I think that having to stare at my own mug while editing the CRAP out of these videos has desensitized me to how "not me" the reverse is. I think that when it's someone else in reverse it's not as uncomfortable because we don't have the same relationship to the other person as we do with ourselves. We're not as hyper-focused on the flaws and whatnot. :) I love your comments. I love knowing that we're friends and that we can really chat about ANYTHING, not just fragrance. I thank you for that friendship!
