I was going crazy with blindbuys during the pandemic. My cravings for comforting scents was clearly out of hand. Too many I didn't end up liking that much. I have since changed my mindset to only buy fragrances I think I will luv and that fill a need/purpose in my collection, not hyped up FOMO fragrances. It's time to enjoy what I have. So, in 2022 I only bought 9 fragrances. 2023 only 6. In 2024, no more than 4 is the goal. Since I changed my mindset, I have luved every fragrance I have bought. My collection is now close to perfect for my needs.
180 bottles is a lot of perfume-- However, over 6 years its only 2.5 bottles a month! I think of it this way. . . I'm not wasting money. I'm creating joy, I'm living in the now AND I'm creating memories. You can't put a price on any of that. 😂
@@sanneparf I was going to say the same.. 6 years-- that's a good number! For me I've been more intentional & get rid of perfumes that I no longer reach for often. Would love to see a video with your biggest dents 🙃
@@CPS0613 Hi ❤️ This year I will declutter at least 20 bottles, it's time.. I actually have a video & also yt #shorts about the biggest dents of 2023 My fragrance goal for 2024 is to buy less, declutter more & to sample as much as possible before committing to a full size bottle + get a travel size when possible 😉 we'll see how it goes 😍
Thank you for watching 🙏 My boyfriend said I smelled like "an old rich lady", when I was wearing Amarige. My mothers "you smell like an old house" comment was about Marquise De Sade by Histoires de Parfums 😆 I love Amarige, it's classy & fierce 😍😍😍 Have a great day!
Enjoyed your video 🤗❣️ I agree, growing up not being able to buy what I want does have an impact on my spending habits 🤷🏻♀️ I’m blessed to be able to buy more than I need ❣️ this is a fun addition. My blind buy spend has definitely slowed down last year and this year as well. 😂
Totally enjoyed this video. I think I overcompensate as well but I work hard for my money and I know when to slow down. I won’t say how many bottles I have because it doesn’t really matter. And between this hobby and gardening that’s pretty much all I put extra money into. On the lighter side, walking through a beautiful garden, wearing a beautiful scent, experiencing something that gives me a sense of peace and connection to nature or others is well worth what I pay for it or what I do to get there. Thank you for your time. Your calm way of speaking and kindness come through your videos and I always smile and feel peaceful watching them…….as well as ready to try a new fragrance! 😁 Glad you have this hobby and a supportive partner😊🌞🌸

I'm a minimalist - my fragrance collection is the only exception, I totally overcompensated 🙈 I actually made an agreement with myself, that if I want to keep this collection, I need to share it with others via RUclips. That's how this channel was actually born 😅
I think that is wonderful. It gives you joy to have this hobby, and sharing this hobby gives other joy. It certainly gives me joy, and I trust your opinion. Something else I think is awesome is when I was growing up and even in my early 20s I never thought that I could speak to someone halfway around the world like this, sharing something that we enjoy. Thank you again and I hope you’re having a wonderful start to the week. I look forward to your next video.😊🌸🌞

Hi, Sanne ! That comment from your husband about old rich lady made me smile as I've got the same one from mine wearing Bottega Veneta Knot Absolu ))) I didn't mind this comment cause that scent actually has quiet luxury vibe that I love so much. And Bottega Veneta's perfumes from the main line is all about that. I own almost all their scents in my small collection that is not more than 40 bottles)
P.S. I encourage you in starting a garden. It can take a long time to learn the ins and outs unless of course you’re just a natural with a green thumb. In this crazy world, it is absolutely my happiest place to be whether it’s my garden or someone else’s.😊🌸💖🌞

I've worn my signature scent since it came out in 1981...and it's been long discontinued...but I've managed to keep a small little stash. My daughter tried to encourage me in June to explore more fragrances...but I waited until late October to go down that rabbithole. I learned everything I could about fragrance/parfums...and placed my first order on Black Friday. Then, my 11 year old granddaughter asked for perfumes for Christmas. One thing led to another, we had a fragrance Christmas, which was great...and I now am up to 90 fragrances in my collection. About 75 are full bottles...and the rest are decants of 10 ml or more. I count decants that are 10 ml as a full bottle...especially when I'm unsure of a fragrance. That way I can generously test it out to know if I need a full bottle...because I don't want to have full bottles of fragrances I won't wear. And speaking of...I ordered a tester of Amarige, liked it, so I ordered a full bottle. It's a Dominique Ropion fragrance, and he's my favorite "nose"/fragrance designer!!!

Worst comment: You smell like a grandpa... peasants 😒🤣 I was wearing Jacomo de Jacomo, 80's Powerhouse, gorgeous scent. I'm also not an over sprayer. Backups? for some.
