Hey Sanne! I love floral fragrances and rose is one of my favorites! It can have so many possibilities and characters when combining with different notes! So many wonderful selections in your list! Frederic Malle made so many great rose scents. POAL and Promise are just epic!Definitely need to be in certain mood to wear them. But you know, my favorite rose from FM is actually Rose and Cuir which doesn’t really contain any rose ingredients. So genius! My current favorite is Tobacco Rose from Papillon Artisan Perfumes. I love everything so far I tried but some can be challenging!

Lovely choices Sanne! I have and love several of these - Atomic Rose, Peregrina, POAL and Rose Rouge especially. I also love Siren and Sailors by Jusbox and Ambre Nuit by Dior. I'm not there yet on the Scherzo, though I appreciate it's beauty. Oud is still not my friend but maybe someday

It's definitely not blindbuy safe, a very grand, dark & complex scent, has something from POAL in it as well (I remember you weren't a fan of it), i can send you a decant if you want to try it ☀️

Thats one good list, Miss. I got the same travel sprayer of MFK Oud Satin Mood as yours and think it will last me for a lifetime😆 What I truly love though is her sister Oud Silk Mood! Just prefer my rose-oud perfumes to be less syrupy sweet😊

My favorite rose scents are vintage ones. Number one would be Nahema by Guerlain (quel surprise). Next, Gris Montaigne by Dior and then Rive Gauche by YSL. Some newer fragrances are:

My favorite rose right now is PHI Une Rose de Kandahar by Tauer. I see it as a spring time version of Oud Satin Mood, which I love as well ♥️🥀

Atomic Rose is just the best! I also love Amouage Lyric man, Dior Ambre Noir, and Cicuta from V Canto. Diptyque Eau Rose is so fresh and easy-going. I love to splash it after my shower! I found the EDP version has a lot more character than the EDT. Really like that one. Scherzo is the quirky rose but yet it’s very attractive. I consider ELDO Eau de Protection a sister of Scherzo, probably because of the high level of aldehyde in them.

P.s. I need to go test the edp version, as Eau Rose edt is so fleeting on my skin... Still love it... A mood booster ❤️❤️
Haven't tried too many from V Canto, as they are harder to spot over here. I'm now trying to sample as much as possible before buying 😁

Rose is a love hate for me, I don't like the smell of natural rose in general I much prefer Jasmine, Tuberose, Narcissus or Gardenias, having said that I love rose in fragrances: POAL(One of my most complimented of all time, it gets very dark on my skin), Oud Satin Mood, Scherzo (The oud is very prominent on my skin with this one), Promise (Absolute Love!!! is one of those that arrives before you, true story 😬😆), PDM Akaster, Ristretto Intense Café and my latest addition, although is more a Rose Oud combo: Electimuss Octavian, nuclear performance, it's amazing, a little skanky but amazing! I have to try Atomic Rose. Great selection as usual, thanks for the video Sanne!!!

I tried Frederic Malle’s promise during Covid and unfortunately it smelled like burning gasoline on me. Funnily enough I got my dad a bottle for his birthday because he really enjoyed it and it smelled gorgeous on him. My #1 rose is Frederic Malle “The Moon” is smells like raspberry, hookah smoke and a rough leather jacket it’s utterly hypnotic. My #2 fav rose is Nishane’s Shem which is imo a smoother version of promise that I enjoy. They both have cypriol and Turkish rose and come out fruity, green and woody. Aloha from Hawaii!
