Thank you for a detailed video that allowed me to switch from a Netgear router to the Linksys router using the MAC spoofing. I appreciate the measured pace of the video, as I was following your video on a tiny phone screen while applying the changes to the larger computer screen.
Thanks for stepping through the different configuration pages. I'm considering getting the EA6350-4B (version 4?) version of this. As far as I can tell, Linksys's newer routers require you to create a cloud account which I don't want to do. I'm using an Linksys N300 at the moment, but, it only has 100 Mbps ports. So, I want to get this one which is supposed to have gigabit ports, as well as AC rather than N wireless speeds. Linksys really needs to do better with regard to their documentation and specifications. And they need to eliminate the cloud account requirement BS. I don't trust that at all. I just want a basic router than I can configure like I did with their older ones, but, with faster speeds.
Minute 13:35 if you do NOT have the mac address you can get it by resetting this router to factory settings then on the step where it says "u want to skip this step and setup manually..." DON'T skip, let the setup wizard do the set up for you.
Thank you, thank you. I was having a really hard time connecting to the internet but that trick with the Mac address helped tremendously. My router is working perfectly. Thank you😊
I have this very same WiFi/router and just switched internet providers, going from cable modem to Verizon 5G wireless and had a devil of a time accessing the router settings 2 weekends in a row, however, what I was not aware of is the router will automatically rest the IP address if the gateway in this case had the exact same IP address (it did) and the router quietly made the change, but no way to find this out, that is, as long as the router is connected via ethernet, you can access the IP address via the command prompt in Windows. Just type in IP configuration-Enter, it'll spell it all out in text and go with the default IP suggestion as the IP to use to access the settings. The speeds are 90mbps up, up to 20mbps down, faster than the cable internet that was guaranteed upwards of 55mbps down, 10mbps up. If you could afford it, the cable had the capacity for 1gbps down, I forget what it was up, but fast. Then there is fiber optic when available. Verizon promises up to 300mbps down in some areas but it all depended on the reception quality for that area. Much of the suggestions were gleaned from Nater Tater on the tubes for the gateway and to change the IP address of the router.
Hi recently i got this product. I have a problem, it has a delay of 15-30 seconds the fist time I used to acces to youtube form my cellphone, and some vids are not charge in twitter or instagram, can you help me? Do you think coluld be a setup or some parameter?
Before starting the process, it asks me to login with the router password. I tried all the passwords I could see on the Linksys router and on the provider's and non worked. I'm stuck with no wifi.
can I use the MAC address of my AT&T modem for MAC address clone? Will that cause any conflict with the AT&T modem functionality? It's frustrating. Thanks!
Thank you for the video. I respect people who help other people. Maybe you can take up the pace a little? After 6 minutes into the video nothing much has happened. Just a suggestion...

if you have 2 computers in the house but use the same wifi for both do you have to set up both this way or just 1 ?
The MAC thing did the trick on my Asus router! Many thanks!

Hey can you tell me what charger I need for this? Is 12V / 2A good ?
I have this router and the power brick is 12V 2A, so yes, it is good.
What if we used barracks wifi and can’t find the MAC Address for the old router?
Is your older router connected when you do the MAC spoof trick?
Jeremy Huynh nope! It doesn't even need power or anything.

What is your Modem?
Why 5g network of this router is not shown on my mobile even when my mobile is 5G compatible?
Wat if you never had internet before and you buy this ? You only have this and a computer with no internet
Helpful. Your sound is intermittently garbling.

It does not.

How to use without plugging into modem
Thanks so much your video helped me setup my router but do edit your video and make it as short as possible cutting of those time gaps.
I forgot my password, what can I do about it?
Call your shit
EinarHg 😂😂
push the Anykey to reset the router
Watch on 1.5x
Thanks bro
Glad I could help. Thanks for the comment!
all you have to do is restart your modem once it is all hooked up. no need for all that mac nonsense.
The MAC thing didn't help
((
I regret the date I bought this piece of crap. The simple the better.
This is a generic explanation. I would spend more time if it is necessary.
