The way he says Kishi was driving me crazy lol. I pronounce it like Key-She. The GameSir G8 Galileo I have is better than this honestly. It's 80 bucks, has the extra buttons on the back where most people are used to finding them, has less noisy face buttons and it has hall effects sticks and triggers. Its placement of the headphone jack and charging port is in the middle too which is better than separating them on the sides like that imo.
Why aren’t these company making mobile controllers without a cooling system? I will be willing to pay between 150 and 200 for a controller that can also cool my phone.
becsuse no brand wants to be tied to the advertising of "overheating". its like shouting down the street "we have a cure for your nasty groin rash, should we put up the posters and tell everyone you approve of us" they get embarrased. also no little fan can compete with just sitting near a small desk fan. of your phones super hot..buy an aluminium heatsink panel and glue it to a cheap case. on your way back to the store for your refund for your not fit for purpose cell phone.

How clicky are the A B X Y buttons? Would love it if you dropped the music for a minute so we could hear how clicky it is. I'd love a controller that was less clicky/noisy like a deualshock. I currently have the Backbone and I think it's the least clicky option out there in the $80-150 range Gamesire, Razer Kisi V2 etc).
So only reason why I’m here it’s because I use to have the V1 for my iPhone but it switched to the 15 pro max and as far as I’m concerned this is one of the few crontrollers with support for the 15 pro max (I mostly use Xbox gamepass) I think those 50 of those $150 are extra and make it way too high. Any recommendations for other controllers with this kind of design that has support for the 15 pro max?
These mobile controllers shouldn’t even be $100 to begin with when first party console controllers which are way higher quality are $70. I got my backbone v2 when it had a sale price of $70 on release, ain’t no way I’d pay more than that. Good on them for not doing any subscription service tho unlike backbone
Yep, no battery, no sensors or motion control, worse joysticks and build quality. All these things should make these controllers much cheaper than an Xbox or PS controller but alas GREED
The Backbone sucks though cause it’s still using those crappy Switch style sticks that are useless for shooters. I’d prefer the G8 Galileo, the Gamevice Flex, or even this one that has closer to full size sticks
I own the Razer Edge and love the koshi v2 pro controller. Had it for a year now! Still love it! This controller definitely for folks that own a Galaxy S22 ultra and up ! The Galaxy Ultra controller. Samsung and Razer!
I rhink the 150$ tag comes from the haptic feed and the stupid fee subscription to the app but either way 150$ is still not justifiably when there competition already have the same controller but 80$ cheaper in the g8
The app doesn't seem to have a fee, been using it over a year with my razer kishi. I think you are thinking of the backbone controller which doesn't have a subscription
Just got the game sir half the price from memory. Apart from the headphone jack and app to launch games etc... im not sure what else this brings to the table apart from the additional price.
Having had one of these, I can tell you, the design and placement of the joysticks being at opposite ends (top and bottom) of the pad, rather than adjacent (opposite) makes it awkward to get used to, as its nothing to the original console's controller.

People were dissing the other kishi controller's for being bad but they didn't see this I think the only problem there is to this controller is not great at being compact but this is built to be a great comfortable gaming controller for your phone and tablet
If they are going to make it stretches further, at least make it able to hold up to a 11 inch tablet. Using BSP D8/D9 for game streaming on tablets, but the quality of these controllers could be better if there are premium versions of these.
It was kinda cringy seeing you figure out how to take it out of the controller properly but repeatedly not do it that way putting it in.. If you put the phone onto the usb c port first, at an angle before you put the other side in, you are going to bend the usb c port and cause wear. You slide the top side of the phone into the left of the controller, extending it by pushing the left open, then you can line it up flat with the usb c port and slide it in, at no point do you have the phone on any angle bending the port.
The USB port is on the wrong side of a Fold so it's already of little use to me. Shame because I've been looking for a compatible controllers and at this point I would definitely overspend for one
check out the newly launched in China Gamesir X2S (yes, S model). Rebranded X2 Pro with the USB C plug on the left. Marketed towards foldable users and costs less than 30-40$ depending on the seller.
Honestly the only interesting use case for this is finally a good iPad Mini controller. But wow, they never learn. Why are the extra inputs still placed where they conflict with your ability to use the triggers? They are next to useless there. Put them on the back grip like any other sensible controller and handheld device
Razer finally added a headphone jack on the controller but unfortunately, the razer kishi controller does not support call of duty mobile out of the box since it requires a 3rd party app for mapping the controls. I have the 1st gen usb c backbone controller and use it to play games like call of duty mobile and have it connected to my sony xperia 1 iv android phone and play other games. It even works with emulators with the backbone controller app and does not need a 3rd party app to map buttons unless the games don't support game controllers. I also have moga power a pro controller with a built in battery and attaches to any mobile device from years ago. The games on the moga pro app only supported older games and stopped receiving updates and does not support newer games since it requires 3rd party apps to play any game since power a discontinued support for the game controller.

Don't waste your money with this controller. It's awkward to use and it's clanky with shooting games. Smartphones with air triggers is more practical but having said that if you playing fighting games just like street fighter it was ok.
It is an option (I do not have a case for the Galaxy S23 Ultra). Razer has shown us photos of it working fine with phones in thick cases. YMMV, obviously, but it does work with cases.

I worked at a T-Mobile store and many people told me this controller wasn't good for Android phones. Unless this is an updated one.
