  • I love this. I created this one just for you guys. It isn't even in my store yet! My time has been limited, so the written tutorials have been delayed, but I will be working on them, and post them as I complete them. I hope you guys love this one!
    It is more of a 12th scale size. The bowls here would be 6 1/4" in real life. So yu can do this one for doll houses as well as jewelry.

      I am happy with them :)
      The glass pebbles for the craft store work well for bowls too. There are some that are a littl bigger than the marbles which is perfect, but you have to go through them because many are not round.
      Thank you so much for coming back :)

    Food coloring- GENIUS! I always hate how the pastels don't mix all the way into my TLS, there are always little bits that never completely incorporate into the TLS. Thank you so much!

      Megan Hess Oh my word!!!! I completely agree with you, and no, I am not an idiot, but I am so sorry, I was replying to someone who was being very rude, but it somehow added it on your comment??? I am so sorry, I have deleted it, and my apologies!

      Cara MO Are you an idiot? I said her idea of using food coloring was genius, I thanked her for sharing it. She replied with "you're welcome" .

      Cara MO I apologize as well, that just came out of the blue and I really like Heather Wells, so I was confused by your comment. No worries, I'm glad that if anyone was being rude to an artist that you would stick up for them. There's no excuse to be rude to an artist!

    Could you please tell us where you get your cutters? I would love to have a set like that! Awesome tutorial btw :)

    • @heathernwells
      @heathernwells  10 лет назад

      They are called Kemper Pattern Cutters. I get them from www.clayfactoryinc.com/
      I find the shipping a bit pricey, but I think they price that way because clay tends to be heavy. To get the most of my money, I get as many cutrters as I can at a time there, like the whole set of circles and hearts at one time.

    When you cook the bowls do you let whatever you cook them in heat up or place them in cold and then heat it up

    • @heathernwells
      @heathernwells  10 лет назад

      I preheat the toaster oven, and the baking tray is room temp when I put it in. The oven is hot already when I put them in. My baking times usually vary between 18 minutes and 30 minutes.
      I cook many of my miniatures multiple times as well. Even though the ice cream here is baked once the bowl is baked twice. Some of my items will go through 3 to 4 baking sessions. They always enter a hot oven though.
